When I look into all of your stupid faces
I think how fun it will be to pound them into dust
Hair: Ahh, that's short, spikey an' brown! Kinda like Austria's, 'cept I got two ahoge, an' they go off to the left!
Height and Weight: 5'10, 150lbs
Other Distinguishing Features: Always wears an adhesive bandage over his nose,
Overall Appearance:
Aussie's not huge; at 5'10 and 150lbs, he's hardly the biggest, strongest and meanest guy in the world. He's usually seen wearing a WWI-era Australian Digger uniform, though he'll switch up to sports wear whenever it suits him best; usually Australian soccer, rugby or football jerseys, with either jeans, shorts, or comfortable pants. He's also a bit of an accessoriser, wearing beads on his wrists, or bandana like strips, necklaces and so on; often made from wood, material and feathers - and all rather brightly coloured.
Generally, he has a koala with him, who will crawl over his clothing, up and down his arms and back, his own little moving backpack. Sort of. He's fairly well toned for a man his size; clearly active as his body gives away.

Secrets: He can't stand being alone for too long, so he'll do what he can to include himself in social events. He doesn't really hate New Zealand, and he can't help but think New Zealand knows that, but he doesn't know how to break the tension between them.
Any Quirks/Habits:
He can't sit still, at all. Not unless he's watching the world pass him by; he's terrible in big meetings, as he becomes very quickly disnterested, thus, fidgeting. He's also known to finish sentences with words and phrases such as "if you know what I mean".
Overall Personality:
He's a silly kind of guy, and that suits him just fine. Sure, he can be a little immature, but that's okay, because it's all backed up by a heart of gold - he's brave, he's courageous, and he's not afraid to try the hardest thing. Sure, he might be stubborn, and yeah, it probably gets him in a bit too much trouble, but he's not a bad sort really. He's kind, and all he wants to do is make his friends or those around him smile.
He'll do what he can to comfort the grieving, and he can be a bit of a pushover for the right person. When you make friends with Australia, you'll have a brother for life; he's a blood brothers or bust kind of guy, so while he might get a little overbearing, you know he'll be by your side until the very end.

I'm the hero!
Australia is a fairly new country to add to the mix; young and self-made, he began as Britain's dumping ground almost. Britain'd send the folk he didn't want to Aussie, and he'd keep them under lock and key. Of course, he got a little tired of all that - Jett wanted to explore and see, not deal with undesirables all day.
Still, he was pretty much under Britain's thumb the whole time - he didn't necessarily agree with Britain, and it was a bit love/hate. He felt that Britain was a little over-optimistic and talked himself a bit up. He seemed to think a lot more of himself, too, and a bit of a pretender.
He and his siblings had all begun to build a bit of an internal sibling rivalry; his sister, Sydney, and his brother, Melbourne, were constantly trying to outplay one another in rugby and the like, while Australia would usually play winner. It was no coincidence that Jett usually won those games, but they never figured out why.
The nearest nation to him was New Zealand, and in the beginning, the two couldn't stand one another. They were too alike in a way; they liked the same sports, did the same things, shared the same interests, but they always wanted to outdo one another. They didn't want to share the same thing, the same items.
Australia became heavily involved in a gold-rush at one point, trying his best to acquire the valuable metals that he could sell to richer nations and do a bit of renovating. He did pretty well from it, giving him the money to really fund his land and kick-start it, modernising and improving on the general structure, making it a world worth living. A real part of the new world.
Even still, despite his use of his money, putting such hard work into his land, the rest of the world still pictured him as a world away; the land down under. It took him time to accept that - after all, Jett just wanted to be involved. Despite his new found wealth and improvements, the beautiful landscapes, Australia was still one of Britain's colonies - granted, a lost one. He was so far away, people didn't quite seem to grasp the young nation the way they should have. At least, not in his eyes.
As they grew older, he and New Zealand had grown to love/hate one another; they refused to admit that they actually liked one another, and would do their best to put up a face that said "we're not buddies", but when push came to shove, they'd defend one another in a time of crisis or aggression. Still, they constantly had to be the better nation, out play, outdo, out-dress and out-perform each other. It had become an almost friendly rivalry, accept they couldn't take losing.
As war set in, Australia was yanked in with Britain - almost a little too eagerly, ready to take on the world. Or at least, some of it. Truth be told, he wasn't sure WHY he was fighting, or if Britain even knew himself, but he was told it was to do with world-wide freedom, so the cause couldn't be too bad. Hell, even America was involved!
So, that's Jett. Fighting battles he doesn't know much about, questioning the guy who he pretty much works for, and trying to see a little more of everything as he goes. And damn New Zealand!

You've got it backwards! Backwards!
Hurry up and throw it! If you don't hurry up and throw it, you'll go "boom"!
Sat behind his desk, Jett leans back, his hat over his face as he swings back and forth - possibly asleep, it's not too obvious. All that is obvious is that he's not paying much attention, his boots firmly planted to the oak table-top. Or so he thought; as he swung, he hit the floor of the rather bare, woodeny room - no windows, just the bare sounds of the outback roaring in, the tundra, sand and grass, massive trees supporting not much in the way of leaves.
He hops up suddenly, his hat falling onto the table as he scrambles, pulling the seat up suddenly, dragging himself to his feet - finally sitting down again, having not expected such a sudden transfer.
"A'm up, A'm up! Crickey, that wusa helluva fall! Coulda bashed ma head an' split it clean open a crack...Should be more careful with this chair." His accent is thick, and very much the typical expectation, some twang in it as he speaks. He shakes his head and repositions his hat, hanging it from his neck.
"Roight...what wassI doin'? Ahh...probly shoulda kept a note of that, ah KNEW that nap as a bad idea..." He scratched his head as he glanced around his table - nothing immediately before him, giving nothing away; what he had been doing, what he should be doing - Jett had done himself a disservice. That was it! No more napping at work!
