Overall Personality: Abbey is as stubborn as her country is, but that's probably because she's his capital and been with him for a long time. Her stubbornness extends to not liking when people leave and wanting to cling to them when they try so they can't. That's part of a deeper problem though. Really, the girl is terrified of being abandoned, and with as many times as she has been, it's hard to blame her for it. She feels like nobody wants her and so figures that eventually they'll leave and never come back. Which does, actually, make her a bit clingy at times. Arthur sees that more than anyone else though because of the fact she lives with him, and so she tends to move locations to be by anyone who is over even if she's just reading. After spending so long really alone and abandoned, she has grown to hate it quite considerably, and when she is alone she usually becomes quite sad if it's longer than a day or so.
Despite this she has become better about managing it than she used to be, but that was probably because there wasn't a lot of time between most of the abandonments she experienced. Her time in the wars made her stronger, more determined to at least fight for what she wanted, though pouting works for her just fine too. Sure she's a bit clumsy at times, but it doesn't usually bother her and she does her best to try and be happy despite her past. The girl really just doesn't want to get her hopes up to be let down again. She's had it happen enough times that she has a hard time trusting when people say they will be back, even though none of those that left really said that to begin with. Maybe she just assumed they would come back for her, or at least hoped they would.
Either way, Abbey isn't the quietest person you'll ever meet, but she isn't the most social either. She's somewhere in the middle of shy and outgoing, and usually tends to just stick around people she knows at gatherings rather than venturing out. She would prefer people come talk to her instead. Though despite the fact she hates being alone, she would normally rather read or bake than go out and socialize, so she's a little odd in that way. Doesn't want to be alone, but doesn't want to be in a group either. She feels like she would probably get lost in a group and thus it would be essentially the same as being alone.

I'm the hero!
- Abbey started out as a part of Rome in the year 43AD, and she remained a part of his empire until 410 AD. Though this entire period of time she was a child with only a little growth.
- She then became part of the Anglo-Saxon civilization, but Arthur didn't exactly like her much because of the fact that she was leftover from when Rome was there. (( this was cleared with her player :3 ))
- So, just as Rome had done so not long before, Arthur abandoned her and she ended up as a part of Denmark not long later even after putting up a fight against it. After he left her too she briefly became part of England again.
- After this she definitely started her abandonment issues. This was the third time she had been left now, and she was beginning to believe she wasn't really wanted.
- Not long later, around 1216 for the First Baron's War, France occupied London for a period of time. It wasn't a very long period of time though only a year actually. Then he was forced to leave her too and she was back with Arthur again.
-In the peasant's revolt a bunch of people set her on fire which was vastly unpleasant for her and murdered the Lord Chancellor, Archbishop and the Lord Treasurer.
- Then she got the Black Death and half her population died, but she gained economic and political importance so she started getting older than a toddler or so now.
-She stayed young for a long time because no nation really settled in London for a long period of time, and now that her and Arthur were starting to slightly get along she was getting older. After all, it wasn't her fault she was part of Rome.
- She continued to grow in power and in age as it went through the fifteenth century and trade was expanding. It was starting to get a bit compact in her city now though, and unfortunately Xenophobia was quite common then too.
- Her lands soon started expanding, but because of tight spaces she had gotten the plague a number of times, and still was getting it, and during the Great Plague....she caught on fire. Sure it helped end the plague, but she spent a week on fire. It destroyed over half the city, and left her fairly scarred.
- During the first World War she received better training in combat and discovered she was definitely not someone for the front lines, and thus became the archer, or now, the sniper who stayed back a bit and used stealth to get the enemies. If they can't see you it doesn't matter if you land on your face while running.
- She had another growth spurt in the 18th century, and the Scottish and English parliaments were merged together. Which meant she had siblings of sort being that they were all technically together.
-Then, at the height of their power, they ended up in World War 2, and she was bombed for nearly a year straight. That was worse than all the plagues combined and during that time the majority of the city had been burned.
- This second time of being burned is what really brought on her fear of fire, and the nightmares. Often she wakes up remembering the fires and the bombs as a sort of PTSD and it takes her a while to calm down after.
- The war slowed things down a bit because of how much needed to be rebuilt, and terrorist attacks started because of troubles with Northern Ireland.
- Her relationship with Arthur is much better now, and in the current day they get along quite fine, though she still expects him to not come back after he leaves for World Conferences for a few days.
The rest of the history that I omitted is here

You've got it backwards! Backwards!
Hurry up and throw it! If you don't hurry up and throw it, you'll go "boom"!
Now that he thought about it, he could actually probably just introduce himself using his middle name. It was far shorter, and he didn’t really mind it. Though there was the fact that he didn’t mind his first name either, so he could really pick to do both if he wanted. Just give them an option of whichever they wanted to call him. For now though he was just going to leave it at Balthasar, and maybe he’d acquire a nickname of some sort eventually. Or maybe he wouldn’t, and that was fine with him as well. Really he was fairly easy going most of the time, and so stuff like that didn’t really faze him one way or another. It was just a matter of what the other person preferred to do. Thus, he would be leaving it up to her to come up with a nickname if she wanted to use one. As far as he was concerned though, his full first name was just fine to use. Maybe once they knew one another better she would come up with something. Or, well, that was if they did get to know one another better. After all, it was entirely possible that they could not get along. They would probably find out whether or not they would get along in the next few moments depending on how their conversation went. Though, if they stuck to simple topics it was possible that they wouldn’t find out hardly anything about one another, and thus could end up as just casual acquaintances. That was fine too, because honestly just someone to talk to sometimes would probably be nice to have. He chuckled back when she said that she would get back to him if she could find a way to shorten it. ”Certainly, though if you can’t that’s fine too. I’m kind of used to not having it shortened anyway.” he said with a smile. It was certainly true enough being that it hadn’t been shortened before now, and if it continued to remain the same then well that was what he was used to, and thus more of the same. ”It is nice to meet you as well.” he stated politely in return to her saying it was nice to meet him. It was polite casual conversation for the moment, but that was because they didn’t know one another yet. That could easily change, or it could just as easily stay that way.
Then she answered his question about if she was looking for somewhere to study, but it seemed that was not the case. ”Large groups can be hard to deal with. I tend to get lost in them, not to mention that too many people at once can be a little overwhelming at times.” he commented simply. She was studied out for the day, so that meant she had probably done so earlier. That also meant that she probably wasn’t your average college slacker. She was someone who maybe cared about what grades they got and their future. That was good at least, because people who paid to just slack off and party shouldn’t really be in college to begin with. Why pay to not go to class? It seemed like just a waste of money, but chances were that they either got funding from the government or from their parents. Ah well, that wasn’t important right now, and he turned his focus back to the conversation they were having. She replied that it depended on how the magic was feeling at the moment basically because it was quite temperamental. That was extremely true, and he knew that quite well at this point. ”It never wants to cooperate correctly. It used to cooperate much better, but that was before I had any idea what was going on really.” he said with a slight sigh. It was ridiculous, and really he needed someone to teach him how to use it. Or maybe he’d just get lucky and finally figure it out on his own. That really seemed rather unlikely though, but he would keep trying at least. She was apparently a half witch who had an affinity for fire, well that was neat. He didn’t think he had an affinity for a particular element. ”I’ve got witch on both sides, though it does apparently have a tendency to skip generations. I don’t think I have an affinity for a particular element, though things tend to just blow up at times when I’m trying to concentrate.” he said with a slight sigh. It was actually rather nice being able to talk to someone who was also a witch. He had to keep it a secret back at his house. His uncle was one of the people it had skipped, and his aunt wasn’t from a magical family, and thus they weren’t exactly supposed to know about the magic that ran in his uncle’s side of the family.
