They love to play and shout. And never have any cares. LOUIS “NIAGARA FALLS” KALM ==================================== 2012 ====================================
Louis’ eyes darted around as he ran across the conference room table. He was barefoot in a pair of footy pyjama bottoms and night shirt that dangled off his small frame. Truth be told, he did more sliding than running. The table was loaded with heavy objects holding down corners of fabric and in some areas the fabric just outright draped over the table. He was trailing a large blanket and using a few oversized books, locked the corner of the blanket to the table.
Louis turned around and studied the masterpiece that Niagara Falls (squared) had made of the room. It was the perfect room for this. The perfect place to construct it. What was it? A giant, extremely complex and ridiculously colourful blanket fort. Alright, the for t wasn’t that exceptionally colourful, it was mostly red, white and blue—by-product of so many national flags using those colours. Louis and Lewis were both here, though where his brother was Lou wasn’t sure. He was in the room somewhere, or perhaps pillaging another room for more blankets.
Many of the blankets were flag designs or in particular colours to represent various nations. Louis hadn’t discriminated in collecting up any blankets he could find, and surely neither did Lewis. As Lou hopped off the table, he spun on his heel and darted into the fort, glancing up at the dipped roof. The centerpiece was the table, but around the walls, there were plenty of anchors for the blankets. Underneath the Twin Falls had both collected a number of pillows to make it comfortable to sit under.
Lou took that moment to crawl into the pile and lay back in them. The fort was pretty close to done. They just needed to peg up the ones that needed attachment higher up the one the walls. Neither boy was exceptionally tall, so they were not ideal candidates. They were however both clever and they would find a way. Lou just hoped the conference room chairs (now lining the walls) would be help enough.
”Hey!! LEW!! Did you see anyone?”
he shouted, hearing the door of the conference room pop open. His brother could have been coming or going but it didn’t matter. He yelled loud enough for Lewis to hear him. It never occurred to Lou that it may not be his brother at all. He shimmied across the floor, his eyes searching as he popped his little blond head out from under the blanket he had placed, but was not yet anchored to the wall. It was green with a moon on it, Pakistan’s perhaps?[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== Tag --- Lewis and Anyone Else... As what they know about her, she was suppose to be a secluded prefecture, preferring to be indoors all the time almost all the time most of the time so the sight of her being outside is quite rare, if not scarce. Well, it's not the first time for her to step outside her own home, so there won't be anything serious happening around.
Right?
Bringing Japan's bento box on one hand, Okinawa looked around the hall, wondering if she remembered the room their boss told her to visit to deliver the food, but due to she forgot to write it down, it was now concluded by herself that she was lost. Great, she thought mentally with a sigh, pulling out a random game console on her skirt pocket and opened it, just so she have something to do to pass the time while wandering around till someone directs her to the right conference hall.
However, it was the habit of being indulged in a game while walking that made the female more lost than before, walking farther and farther to the actual location which is only a corridor away from the front door, and it wasn't long before- being too engrossed with her game (final stage boss before the next level does that)- the raven-haired maiden opened the door and looked up, only to see something she wasn't suppose to see. The first thing her sight greeted her from being engrossed with a video game was what it appears to be a fort.
A fort.
Inside a conference hall room.
She blinked a few times, rubbing her eyes with her sleeve-covered hand, and looked around, tilting her head in wonder.
"...Maybe I must be in a different dimension."

The larger the blanket fort the better!
Lew wondered how the nations would react when they saw the twins' masterpiece. He was fairly certain that his nation would be amused, though, and that was really the extent to which he cared. Maybe he cared a little about how Matthew would react too, given his brother. Other than that, though, he was looking forward to at least a few of the others freaking out. Which reminded him of another item he wanted to grab before he joined his brother again.
Speaking of, Lewis heard his brother call out to him. "Not yet!" He called back just as loudly, before darting back into the room with his hands full. The bulk of what he was carrying consisted of more blankets. Resting on top of the blankets, however, was a small camera. When the city entered the room, he expected to only see his brother. Therefore, he was surprised when he saw someone else. She was Asian, going by appearance, but that was about all that Lewis could discern. He could not tell whether she was a nation, state, city, or maybe even a human. All he knew was that he and his brother had their first audience member!
"Lou!" He called out loudly once more. "Someone's here! And I got more blankets!" About the only difference that anyone would be able to note in Lew's voice as opposed to Lou's was his slight New York accent. It came as a result of being located in New York State and therefore spending a lot of time with Theo and Johnny, New York City and New York State respectively. He could cover it up easily, but saw no point in doing so when he didn't even know the person in question. It was a lot more fun when he and Lou were around people they knew and tried to trip them up intentionally.
Though he had yet to realize that the woman before him had already met his brother. "Hey! We're just finishing up with a blanket fort! You wanna join us?" He set the blankets and camera down as he waited for a response, from both his brother and the newcomer. [/style] | notes: go here. | |

They love to play and shout. And never have any cares. LOUIS “NIAGARA FALLS” KALM ==================================== 2012 ====================================
After popping his head out Lou immediately noticed the girl from before. The one he had met that didn’t know hopscotch and he had unfairly beat twice at 20 questions. Okay, that wasn’t true, he beat her once and the other time he lost count. He couldn’t be expected to get it right every time. He tried to recall her name, or who she was and drew up a blank. Had they even introduced themselves?
Lou grinned as she mentioned something about another dimension. That was a weird theory and Lou sort of liked it. He was about to comment and let the girl know she this wasn’t the case when Lew returned. Louis was still out of sight, with just his head popping out from an obscure place under the blanket fort, so it was no surprise that either had seen him. ”YAY! MORE BLANKETS!!”
He shouted in his excitement, struggling to get free of the blanket he had popped his head out from under and causing him to shimmy along the floor and out of the fort. Louis sounded distinctly Canadian in his pronunciations by comparison to Lewis. Lou could emulate a New York accent for when he wanted to portray himself as Lewis, but he was sticking to his own voice today. Lou jumped to his feet, with absolutely no grace whatsoever. He ran over to the girl from not long before. ”Hey~!! I promise there will be no 20 questions this time!! And it’s not another dimension unless you want it to be...” he offered with a wide grin as he half pranced, half danced over to Lewis. ”I met her outside. We played 20 questions and I lost count of how many questions I asked. I meant to ask you, does that mean she won?” he asked. Of course, his attention didn’t linger there long. ”We should get a ladder or something to pin up the big corners near the wall...” he said, half to himself and half to Lewis. ”You should help! Or, if you want you can go inside. It’s comfortable! Better than playing games standing...” he added, noting the game in her hand. He ran up and around her, so he could get a look at the game. ”Whatcha playing!?!” he asked. Louis was all about fun and games. Games were one of the best things ever in his mind. That definitely had something to do with the large number of casinos, museums, and rides that were present in his city.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ==================================== Tag --- Lewis and Anyone Else... She blinked. Once. Twice. A few times, before the maiden decided to give up on straining her mind- this is a lot harder than solving a Hard setting in a game- and sighed. Kiku would might want to wait a little longer for his lunch, the female thought as she watched the twins reunited and cheer for what seem to be something so small of a matter if one would think it that way. Tilting her head in curiosity, she waited and listened, turning off her game console (after saving it; she can't forgive herself if she didn't save her hard-earned progress, after all) as one of them whom she interacted (she wasn't sure anymore now that there are two of them) went towards her and told her that she was not in a different dimension and there won't be '20 Questions' involved. "Ahh," Okinawa pondered, one of her sleeved-hand placed under her chin in a thinking manner as she recalled how she failed miserably at that game. Well, for starters, Okinawa haven't encountered playing that game before, so that's first, but she'll get it right next time. "That's too bad, I would want to try my luck on it once again." She said in a mild chuckle. Okinawa watched as she was being introduced (somewhat) by the blonde-haired child to his mirror, giving a small and polite bow before she also gave a curious, almost eager look when he asked if she have won the last game when the younger City lost count. "Blanket... fort?"Now this is the first time she encountered another use for a Blanket asides keeping oneself warm during the night and winter days. Looking at the two of them, Okinawa started to look back and forth, trying to discern any differences between the two and, so far asides the tone of their voice that she could tell they came from North America ( try not to think about him, she thought), other than that she find it difficult to tell them apart. The accent, maybe? Or, that the one is more hyper than the other? Already, she was having that naive concentration from her face, something she rarely show to the older nations and whatnot, but that pretty much what makes her a bit more naive than most of her days. Well, they are still young, so maybe they don't mind. "Ah...huh?" Another blink, bringing her attention back to the ground, as she used the same hand she placed under her chin to point to herself, shocked that they invited her to play with them. "Are... you sure?" Look at Okinawa, talking to a couple of young cities, and she even acts like she's younger than them judging by the fact that she's not only lost but oblivious to what they are doing. "I... guess so." She said, her maroon optics lingering at the lunchbox she was carrying with her other hand. "Anou.... I mean... if there's something you want me to do." And, thus, she placed down the lunch box somewhere in one of the vacant table, and was about to move to help when one of them (she believe that would be the one whom she played with a while back) asked what she was playing. "Some video game," She said with a mild cough, ashamed the fact that she was even playing the one that came from America. Not that she'll tell anyone, but being a Japanese prefecture whom most misunderstood thanks to her nature and speaking dialect, she wasn't surprised anymore. "Maybe you might want to see it later? I am a bit curious about this... fortress you're creating." There was a gentle, if not mildly child-like, smile appearing on her face; it was very much a long time ago when she used to be less reserve and more outgoing, perhaps a bit like them, but maybe the raven-haired female should just start to take herself easy in a bit. He began to look around for any signs of movement, and noticed his brother peeking his head out from one of the blankets.
"Yup, blankets! And a camera too!" After all, when the nations came into the room, he had to make sure that they caught their reactions!
Their voices were similar, yet slightly different. It was noticeable if one paid attention to their pronunciations, though difficult to note if one wasn't paying attention. Lew watched as his brother greeted the young woman, surprised to learn that they'd apparently met before! He was a little disappointed that his brother was able to meet her before he did. However, he was excited to meet this new person. Who was she? Did Lou know?
Sure enough, Lou seemed to know exactly what Lew was thinking. The American twin shrugged. "I dunno, actually. I don't really say that she won, unless she was already beating you when you forgot how many questions you were asking! I'd say it was a tie." Really, he was just making that up off of the top of his head. He wasn't even sure if there were any written rules anywhere for that specific bit of 20 questions.
Lew grinned widely at Lou's idea. "That's a great idea! And if we can't find a ladder, one of us could lift the other one up so we can reach it! We can do rock, paper, scissors to see who gets to be the one lifted and who does the lifting." Lew knew that both of them would want to be the one lifted, and rock, paper, scissors seemed like the best way to determine who would get the more coveted position.
He then beamed when Lou invited her to join them. "You should! You could even lift up one of us!" It seemed like a good idea to Lewis. After all, she was bigger than them. They had the physical appearance of preteens, possibly thirteen at the oldest, and were quite small even for their appearance age. She probably would do a better job of lifting. Not many people wanted to play those kinds of games with him. We can play that game again later!! And again and again if you want to!!” Lou offered, just happy to have someone so willing to play. His delight was plain and clear on his face. Lou grinned ear to ear when Lew decided that it should be considered a tie. ”I can live with a tie!” he said, with what could be considered a Canadian accent compared to his brother’s somewhat New York sounding accent (which honestly makes sense given he is a city in New York). ”I’ll try not to forget what number I am at next time! That way one of us wins!” Lou offered, though whether it would happen or not wasn’t a guarantee Turning to face Hourai again, Lou smiled and nodded vigorously. ”A blanket fort!! See…we just draped them over things to make open spaces under the blankets. Then we get to hang out under there until we want to tear it down by playing Godzilla!” Lou offered excitably. He didn’t pay much attention to her trying to figure out the differences between him and Lewis. Instead he was responding to Lew’s enthusiasm. ”I know right! Rock Paper Scissors would decide it for sure. Do you think she is tall enough instead? Oh~!” Lou turned his attention back to Hourai. ”I forget your name. What’s your name again!?” he asked, innocently. ”Of course! Why not?!” Lou answered to her question of surety. He saw nothing unusual about Lew and him trying to get someone else to play along with their games. Hell, Lou was so used to ‘No’ as an answer for a lot of people that he wasn’t even offended when people refused anymore. Lou didn’t care if she did the lifting or not, he just wanted her to play too, but he did jump on the idea when it was offered. ”Do you think you could lift on of us so we can place the corners?!” Lou was practically jumping at this point, rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet in excitement. Lou dismissed the response to his question about the video game, not bothering to press her for the title of it. ”Sure! I’d love to see it later. Want me and Lew to give you the tour first?” Lou asked, delighted at the chance to show her the America room…made of blankets clearly taken from Matthew and Alfred’s belongings. Perhaps calling it a room was a bit much? The whoop that exited Lou at the knowledge of the Camera was beyond excited. All the excitement had built up to it. ”It’s too bad we can’t YouTube it. But maybe we can find a way to invade the next national meeting after we get their reactions…that way we can show them off! Or…we can use them for blackmail to get candy!” Lou offered, his intentions fairly innocent, despite the more malicious nature of the idea of blackmail. [/div] TAG: Lewis and Anyone Else!
