When I look into all of your stupid faces
I think how fun it will be to pound them into dust

Height and Weight: 5'7'' 145 lbs
Other Distinguishing Features: his sweet yet psychotic smile and his dove tattoo and another tattoo of the double headed eagle on the right side of his back.
Overall Appearance:
Felix is one of this awkward boys who never seems to know what to do with himself. He typically has a bored yet curious look plastered on his pale face, with a creepy yet sweet smile on his face. His golden eyes seem strange to a lot of people, and they seem to hide a great deal about him. He usually is seen wearing jeans and long sleeve shirts with a heavy coat and scarf (much like Russia himself) though he still remains freezing to anyone who touches him. He doesn't usually comb his messy black hair and allows it to hang in his face.
Felix is one of those awkward boys who never seem to know what to do with themselves. Though he stands a little short, only reaching five foot seven (he thinks he’s short HA!) he positions himself very carefully in front of people. Since he believes posture is the structure of a specific first impression he slouches slightly, but holds his shoulders back which simultaneously makes him seem relaxed yet imposing. For a first impression he always gives a sweet smile, which seems to come off slightly creepy though he’s really quite harmless.
Let’s talk about his eyes. His eyes are a bright soft golden color, deep and melting like honey. He’s learned to hide his expression in his eyes well, and more often than not all you’ll see is a deep burning curiosity if you try to figure him out. Since his gaze is mostly directed in a sweet well-meant friendly way he doesn’t feel the need to use them to torture people, because when he gets angry his eyes feel as though they could burn a hole in your soul. In a moment his eyes can go from a honey pot to a hard frozen and cruel icy tundra, capable of bringing weaker men to their knees. There are times where his eyes become more expressive, but that is usually reserved for those he’s close to who he knows he won’t bother with it. His eyes can darken and lighten with small mood changes, as well as with the growing or fading light.
His dark hair is unkempt and messy, and Felix allows it to be kept long and in his face. He never actually does anything with his hair besides smooth it down in the morning, finding it useless to try and control the strands. The way his hair falls frames his face nicely as well as gives him a more sweet and innocent look about him, which can sometimes be deceiving.
His skin is very pale; almost snow white since he stays inside a lot. He doesn’t tan very well, turning pink if he stays in the sun for too long. His skin is actually as cold as it looks, and gets colder with the passing winter. During the cold season his fingertips and the corners of his lips turn a light blue color, and he never wears gloves since he prefers to feel the biting chill. But no matter what time of the year it is, he’s always subjected to a chill that seeps through him. Along with his pale skin he looks fragile in general, his body toned but lithe. He doesn’t have much muscle definition; though some muscle IS there it isn’t much.
Typically the attire of this tiny Russian is to wear a long sleeve shirt, and either jeans or dress pants with his favorite black scarf. He doesn’t enjoy dressing up too much, and if necessary the farthest he will go is a button down, dress pants, and suspenders. He still refuses to wear a full suit though. As well, the most he’ll wear outside is a black pea coat over his shirt, even in the winter time since the cold actually doesn’t bother him that much anymore.
Let’s talk about under the clothes now. Felix has a lot of bruises and scars from his struggles. From the burning of his city to avoid the French his left ankle is an ashen gray color from the intensity of the fire he got caught in, and a couple of burn scars running up to his knee. He has a scar across his stomach from the time of the Battle of Moscow, and several other spindling thin scars around his body. On the right side of his back under his shoulder is a tattoo of the double headed eagle, a symbol of the Muscovites. On his right hip, he also has a tattoo of a dove, which no one knows about.

Overall Personality:
There's two sides to Felix, the side that he keeps to himself, and how he lets other people see him. Typically, when you meet Felix, the first thing you'll notice is his sweet smile. Then, his intense stare in your direction. Then he moves closer to you, and perhaps you start to feel uncomfortable, so you try to move away. But then he grabs your sleeve, and asks you your name....in a sickly sweet innocent voice. Now most people don't take the time to get to know him, and he isn't objected to letting people think he's as psycho as Russia himself, but Felix is a lot quieter. He isn't any less violent though, and is known to loose his temper easily if things begin to go wrong and he gets flustered.
The other side of him is the side he keeps to himself. Sure you may notice his creepy smile and start to back away, but what you won't see is the hurt look in his eyes and his smile falter. And that's why he grabs your sleeve, to keep you there so he can make a new friend. He's a very paranoid and worried young man, always concerned with what could happen to him. He's terribly lonely but also very secretive, aware that he could be used at any moment. He's also very wary because of the fact that he's gay, and is preoccupied most of the time with hiding that fact.
**Adding on as I figure out more about Felix and rework some of his personality
Felix, in reality, is an utter mess. He’s mentally and emotionally fragile, which is why his main motto is “let sleeping dogs lie” which applies mainly to him for history. He likes to forget any wrong that he himself, or Ivan, has done to others, or any wrong that has been done to him. It isn’t in his desperate nature to stay angry at someone for too long. Because as a person he is rather weak he gets exhausted easily and strained even easier, so he doesn’t have the energy to keep a grudge. (Except for one specific one and I will touch on that soon.) Most of his anger, if he has any, is usually in vicious and violent spurts of energy and end with him turning into a panting staggering mess.
Felix also has no self-confidence. None at all. As sweet as he tries to seem he always reminds him of how annoying he can be, which is why he does remain silent at some points in time. He doesn’t think he’s strong, he knows he’s a very weak as a person and no matter how hard he tries he knows that people won’t like him as much as he wants them to, and he hates being left behind. Which is why he does seem really clingy at times. Felix despises himself for being gay, and often torments himself while he drinks on the subject. It isn’t as though he hates BEING gay, that doesn’t bother him, what bothers him is what other people think of him. He assumes he’ll never find love and is afraid of doing so, because falling in love would mean he would have to “come out” though most of the Slavic nations already know, not that he would ever admit it if he was faced with one of them. He’d rather struggle and be in an unhappy one sided hetero relationship than have to face the disaster of letting Ivan know he was gay.
The no self-confidence thing goes along with his feeling worthless even after Moscow was one of the cities given the title “Hero City” after WWII because he felt as though he didn’t really do much. He tried his best, he knows that, but he still feels as though it wasn’t enough and hates the title as well as the medal he received for his “heroic” actions. Felix feels like the title is a taunt against him and it’s a touchy subject that drives him to get drunk a lot.
Felix HATES Saint Petersburg. Hates hates hates, it’s the one grudge he’s always had and always will keep. He can never forgive Saint Petersburg for stealing his important position as the capital in 1712, and has always been insecure about his position when he regained the ability to be the capital. If there was anyone Felix was willing to dirty his hands in blood over, it was Saint Petersburg. Not many people know to what extent he hates the city, or even that he hates the city in general.
(**Little OOC non-historical fact he tried to burn the city down soon after he regained the position as capital but failed)
He’s clingy towards Ivan, but not in an obvious way. He tends to follow him around and hates being without him, considering the topic of conversation always seems to end up on Felix wondering what Ivan is doing or something of that nature. A lot of people would say he’s in love with Ivan, which may or may not be true. Felix doesn’t even know, all he knows is that he’s terrified of losing Ivan somehow, and is paranoid about not knowing where he is or what he’s doing. (much like a clingy and obsessive girlfriend, but worse.)
Felix is a careful drinker around other people, mainly because he is the type of drunk that is very affectionate. He’s openly gay when completely smashed, and that’s no good. Afterwards he is prone to become very mopey and sad, often crying for a while before trying to drink himself to death. The most he tries to allow himself in front of others is a buzz, in which he can improvise acting more intoxicated than he really is. His years of very very heavy drinking have helped him acquire a high tolerance level which really helps.
Felix cries a lot. A LOT. Pretty much every day he sheds at least a few tears. So much frustration builds over the course of one day that his body can’t handle the amount of stress he puts on himself. So he cries when he’s alone in his room and he knows no one is looking. This is why he has a collection of stuffed animals, because they comfort him when he’s stressed and are easy to cry into. A lot of people would assume that a seemingly care free capital like Felix seems to be would have nothing to cry about and just WOULDN’T cry, but most of those people are wrong.
He’s very prideful in his city, the beautiful buildings and how pretty it can be, but would never boast about it. He’s surprisingly humble about his city and will mention in passing about a single pretty building or how the lights look at night, but only if asked. He doesn’t mind people talking about their own countries, but he tends to keep quiet about his so he doesn’t come off as pushy or annoying.
Being sentimental is important to Felix. The very scarf he wears (a nice fluffy black one with stars sewn on each end) was given to him as a gift by another nation, though it isn’t clear who. He’s kept it since it was given to him and wears it every single day, and can’t bear to part with it. He never adequately explains how he got the scarf, and often replies with something similar to “Well one day I was very cold, and the next day I had a scarf! I was warm! Ahaha isn’t that funny?” and tries to change the subject if the issue is pushed.
Painting…shockingly is one of his stronger abilities. He loves to paint, but only in private. He turned his closet into a small gallery where he keeps all of his paintings and supplies, and it’s such a well hidden secret most Slavic nations don’t even know he does it. He’s never felt the need to share the ability with everyone and often denies any artistic ability at all when asked.
(This is all he’s told me for now ha, I’ll be updating this more when more comes to me)

I'm the hero!
- He was named after the river (old Russian: гра́д Моско́в, literally "the city by the Moskva River"). The first reference to Moscow dates from 1147 when Yuri Dolgorukiy called upon the prince of the Novgorod-Severski to "come to me, brother, to Moscow."
- Nine years later, in 1156, Prince Yuri Dolgorukiy of Rostov ordered the construction of a wooden wall, the Kremlin, which had to be rebuilt multiple times, to surround the emerging city.
- After the sacking of 1237–1238, when the Mongols burned the city to the ground and killed its inhabitants, Moscow recovered and became the capital of the independent Vladimir-Suzdal principality in 1327. Its favorable position on the headwaters of the Volga River contributed to steady expansion. Moscow developed into a stable and prosperous principality, known as Grand Duchy of Moscow, for many years and attracted a large number of refugees from across Russia.
- In 1380, prince Dmitry Donskoy of Moscow led a united Russian army to an important victory over the Tatars in the Battle of Kulikovo. The battle, however, was not decisive and only two years later Moscow was sacked by khan Tokhtamysh. Ivan III, in 1480, finally broke the Russians free from Tatar control, allowing Moscow to become the center of power in Russia
- In 1571, the Crimean Tatars attacked and sacked Moscow, burning everything but the Kremlin.
- In 1609, the Swedish army led by Count Jacob De la Gardie and Evert Horn started their march from Great Novgorod toward Moscow to help Tsar Vasili Shuiski, entered Moscow in 1610 and suppressed the rebellion against the Tsar, but left it early in 1611, following which the Polish–Lithuanian army invaded.
- The 17th century was rich in popular risings, such as the liberation of Moscow from the Polish–Lithuanian invaders (1612), the Salt Riot (1648), the Copper Riot (1662), and the Moscow Uprising of 1682. The plague epidemics ravaged Moscow in 1570–1571, 1592 and 1654–1656.
- He ceased to be Russia’s capital in 1712, after the founding of Saint Petersburg by Peter the Great near the Baltic coast in 1703.
- Following the Russian Revolution of 1917, on 12 March 1918 Moscow became the capital of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic and of the Soviet Union less than five years later.
- In 1941, sixteen divisions of the national volunteers (more than 160,000 people), twenty-five battalions (18,500 people) and four engineering regiments were formed among the Muscovites. That November, the German Army Group Center was stopped at the outskirts of the city and then driven off in the Battle of Moscow.
- On 1 May 1944, a medal For the defense of Moscow and in 1947 another medal In memory of the 800th anniversary of Moscow were instituted. In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany, on May 8, 1965, Moscow became one of twelve Soviet cities awarded the title of Hero City.
- In 1980, he hosted the Summer Olympic Games, which was boycotted by the United States and several other Western countries due to the Soviet Union's involvement in Afghanistan in late 1979.
- In 1991, Moscow was the scene of the failed coup attempt by the government members opposed to the reforms of Mikhail Gorbachev. When the USSR was dissolved in the same year, Moscow continued to be the capital of Russia.

You've got it backwards! Backwards!
Hurry up and throw it! If you don't hurry up and throw it, you'll go "boom"!
Felix stood on the street corner, the bags under his
eyes covered by cheap makeup. The sun was beginning
to set, and he squinted as he stubbed out the cigarette
in his mouth. He shivered as the chill rushed over his
skin. He hated his job, it made tears prick in his eyes just
thinking about what he did to earn money, but the tears
faded thinking about his reason why. Though he sold his body
he made the money necessary to support his mother, and
that made a smile cross his face. He looked around at his fellow
prostitutes, many of which he had befriended and even tutored
at some point. There were a few ladies present that were quite
intelligent, and ended up here due to situational circumstances
much like him.
He passed the time talking of paradoxes and riddles with a girl
named Sally, a tall brunette with bright blue eyes that hadn't been
dulled by the weight of the job yet. Smiling sadly at her as she
jumped in a man's car he frowned as she was driven off. Closing
his eyes momentarily he twitched hearing a car slow down in front
of him. Opening his eyes he entered the blond man's car, ignoring
the sickly sweet fake smile on his face and his sugary tone. He tried
to pretend like he was helping the boy, and Felix had no choice but
to play along for a while until the job was over. Two hundred dollars
richer he waited for the next car, and the next, and the next. Finally,
dawn. Seven clients later and fourteen hundred dollars richer he
limped down the street, cash tucked tightly in his pocket.
He shoved a cigarette in his mouth and lit it, fingers trembling and
exhausted. What he needed now was something to eat, and drugs
to dull the pain in his ass. He felt filthy and disgusting, something he
could deal with for now until it got too much and he took a boiling hot
shower later. Closing his eyes he managed to weave through people
fluidly and sighed, smoke billowing in a small stream from his lips.
Running a hand through his hair he looked around and leaned against
a wall. Just waiting for something, anything, to occur.
