UNHAND ME YOU DAMN BASTARDS!! BITIWAN NIYO AKO!!" In hopes to save her people, Gabriella- donning in her military uniform and with her weapon at hand- charged in and managed to defeat as many Japanese soldiers as she could. However, their numbers are far greater and their coordination far superior than hers that, though some managed to escape, they somehow caught the mastermind of the impromptu operation. Not only she didn't save her people (as well as the American Soldiers involved) but she was caught and forced to join the what will become known as the 'Bataan Death March'. It won't kill her, of course, since she's a Nation, but they think that it might at least settle her down and tame the wild female. Besides, since she was under America's colonization, they knew she's still bitter about the lost which fuels her need to win and save her people so watering her down using this method might work. Anyway, if all else fail, they'll have Japan to take care of her, unless Germany decided to get involve as well. For the first two days, no provision were given to the prisoners (Philippines was no exemption, but with what's going on outside the march, it was noticeable how she was worse for wear) and it pains the brunette to see the people suffer from hunger and abuse from their captors. Many times, she tried to stop them, but they are so many that they out-power her (what more if Japan, himself, gets involve) so she was left with no choice but to temporarily abide and follow. She watched as both her people and the American soldiers die like flies from the lack of food and water (the water buffalo wallows at the side are filthy for them to drink, but they need water nevertheless), the heat and exhaustion and more harshness from their captors. They're not suppose to suffer like this, she thought while trying her best not to show her weakness to the prisoners. No, she'll have to march on. Philippines somehow manage to lost count of the days (it was actually just around day 9) and they were given temporary rest before they resume. Already, many of their number are left behind to die and she was given the opportunity to lean on a random tree out of exhaustion, eyes closed and wishing that this would be over. The pain was unbearable but she never told anyone; she's an embodiment of a country so no matter how many injuries she sustain, she'll live on unless she dissolves completely by some means. It was hard but she have to endure, just to show to the other prisoners that she'll soldier on for victory. "Yeah, I'll just take a rest here for a bit..." She murmured to herself, nursing an injury on her arm that she sustained not a long ago.
