I Feel Like We're Summoning The Devil
Nickname/Alias: Sveta, Lana, Moscow, “The Kremlin”
Gender: Female
Character Type: Capital
Country or Country of Origin: Russia
Canon or Original: Original

When I look into all of your stupid faces
I think how fun it will be to pound them into dust
Hair: Sandy-Brown
Height and Weight: 5'8”; 156 pounds
Other Distinguishing Features: Three rather large burn scars on her chest from the three burnings, as well as a curving scar on her lower back from the Battle of Moscow.
Overall Appearance:
Svetlana is rather tall, at least for a woman. Not tall enough to cause people to give a second glance or stare, but tall enough that generally she needs to look down to meet someone's eyes. Sveta, however, rarely does meet others eyes, instead staring down at her feet and scrunching her shoulders up to look smaller. She's big boned, heavy-set but not particularly overweight. Her shoulders are on the broader side, but she is not particularly chesty.
Sveta's clothing is usually more Western than it used to be- she wears more jeans and sweaters than she did pre-Cold War. On occasion, she will wear skirts with shirts or jumper dresses as a throwback to when she wore sarafans and kosovorotka
on a regular basis. Generally she'll wear warm boots, lined with sheepskin. Her coat is made of wool and long, to about her knees. Coat weather also usually means she'll wear her knitted scarf and gloves, but no hat.
Sveta wears her hair in a bob to her jaw. She doesn't care much for long hair, she finds it to get in the way far to much. However, she wears her bangs a bit longer, just past her eyebrows (and therefore usually in her eyes).

Secrets: She still has a USSR flag with the Sickle and Hammer, and has no plans to get rid of it. She's not ashamed of it, and occasionally she wishes it had worked out, because she thinks the theory behind Communism is a good one.
Any Quirks/Habits: Despite the fact that she really hates being drunk (and has a high alcohol tolerance), she drinks until she passes out when particularly stressed. She'll also pick up secondhand electronics that don't work and tinker with them (although she rarely gets them working).
Overall Personality: Moscow tends to be quiet and rather shy. She doesn't speak up unless she's with someone she's completely comfortable around and her reluctance to completely trust others makes them few and far between. She prefers to listen to what others have to say. She's most comfortable when talking about neutral topics, or ones that interest her. She'd much rather discuss opinions on a book than politics. Although holding no grudge against people who have done former wrongs against her or Russia, that acceptance won't go beyond simple politeness. She tries to remain diplomatic, but diplomacy can only go so far when you resent someone. She's very calm though, so even if she were to be stuck in a run of all the people she can't stand, she'd keep collected, although she might withdraw a bit and stop talking. When she does become comfortable with someone, she can actually be very welcoming and sweet.
Moscow is very neat, everything has a place and is in that place. She's rather bad at taking care of herself, missing meals or sleep because she's jumping from task to task and attempting to finish something in one go (and generally fails). That constant distraction usually results in her being late for things. She usually gets her tasks for the day done by giving herself a goal, usually promising herself that whenever everything's done she'll break out the kvass and relax for a bit. Despite kvass being such low proof alcohol, it's Moscow's favorite and she'll usually drink it with whatever she cooks. Her cooking isn't amazing, but she can make simple dishes and likes eating home cooked meals far better than take-out.
Despite trying to stay diplomatic and kind, Moscow is very selfish. She completely supported the communists because it got her back her title of capital. Saint Petersburg were to cease to exist she'd be elated, because she wouldn't have that competition. She doesn't like seeing Russia go to war without having been directly attacked (unless he's aiding someone she considers a friend). It means the people in her city leaving and being killed, and Russia's other people leaving to die, and she doesn't want to see that happen because they're hers. She hates how selfish she is, fights an internal conflict over it often enough, but she an't help thinking like a spoiled child half the time. - Cooking simple things

Hurry up and throw it! If you don't hurry up and throw it, you'll go "boom"!
Sveta hummed softly, setting a pot on the stove to simmer. It was winter again (always felt like winter, but this was real winter) and a nice hot bowl of borscht sounded good. She frowned a little, wandering to her front door to put her things away. She had wanted to get his dinner started, which meant leaving her outdoor things in a (slightly damp) pile.
“I will have to get a towel.” she murmured, standing her boots up neatly by her other shoes, tucking her gloves into the pocket of her coat, and hanging it in the closet with her scarf.
She shuffled back to the kitchen and retrieved a rag, cleaning the water off the floor. She scooped up her work bag and discarded the rag into the hamper in her bathroom and made her way to her room where the desk was. Always paperwork or documents to read. She didn't mind, not really, it would just take until after dinner given her easy distraction. Her pen scratched softly against the paper, but she couldn't focus.
It was one of those days then.
She sighed and set the pen aside, choosing instead to retrieve a book from the shelf, but frowned. She didn't feel like reading. She glanced at the door, and after some deliberation, put on some socks and went to the front hall to get her coat and boots. A quick walk to the bookstore, check what plays would be preformed in the area, and then home to check her borscht. Perhaps she'd be able to focus on her work then.
She slipped the boots on, tucking her pants into the tops. Then on went her gloves, then her coat, and then the long scarf. Tucking her chin into the soft grey scarf, she scooped her keys and wallet up from the hall table and headed out.
