When I look into all of your stupid faces
I think how fun it will be to pound them into dust
Hair: Red
Height and Weight: 5’5, 140 lbs
Other Distinguishing Features: Freckles, rather large eyebrows
Overall Appearance: Ireland stands a little taller than average height and has a slender frame. Do not be deceived by her petite appearance; she may not be huge but she has enough strength to rugby tackle anybody. She is also quite flat-chested. Her flat chest means she can be mistaken for a boy, so sometimes she'll dress in men's clothing and hide her hair under a flat cap. Aoife has a scar across her stomach and a birthmark on her right shoulder. She sometimes refers to it as "Dublin", as it appears to resemble the shape of the County of Dublin as seen on a map of Ireland.
Her skin is pale, so pale it looks almost ivory and her face and arms are dotted with freckles. However, her pale complexion means she gets easily sunburnt and goes deep red when she blushes. Her eyes are a brilliant shade of emerald green and her lips are full with a soft red colour to them. Above her stunning eyes are a pair of rather large, naturally black eyebrows that she hates with a passion. Luckily they're not as large as her brother’s eyebrows. Her hair is red, curly and very long, falling past her shoulders. She ties it back in a plait for work or sports, or occasionally hides it under a flat cap as mentioned earlier. Aoife's favourite colour is green, and she always wears an item of clothing or accessory in that colour. She can usually be seen in traditional Celtic clothes or a green dress.

Man up or I'll beat you with my peace prize!
✓Music: Ireland’s culture is rich in music. She has a beautiful singing voice and also plays the harp and fiddle. Not only does she enjoy classical Celtic music, but also Irish rock.
✓Alcohol and pubs: She particularly enjoys Guinness and whiskey. Also, her pubs have a reputation for being fun. Now you can find them all over the world.
✓Collecting lucky charms: Ireland insists that she is blessed with good luck, even though her past has been quite up and down. She collects various trinkets such as lucky rabbit’s feet or four leafed clovers. Her favourite charms are a pair of four leafed clover studs she wears always.
✓Sports: Ireland is good at playing rugby in particular. She really enjoys the fact you have an excuse to tackle people, and finds it a good way to let off steam. Ireland is also a talented archer and occasionally plays golf as well.
✓Writing poetry: After taking a great interest in the works of Oscar Wilde, Ireland decided to have a go at writing and discovered she was pretty good at it. Plus, it's something she finds relaxing.
✓The countryside/outdoors: Ireland grew up on a farm, and always finds that really, the country is where she belongs. Mainly because of all the greenery, and green is her favourite colour.
✓Celtic mythology: Ireland is very interested in the ancient mythology of Ireland. She has book that's a collection of Irish myths. Also, she's quite fond of Celtic magic and the occult... She believes in magical creatures and such. In fact, she supposedly lives with a leprechaun named Patrick.
✓Hearty food: Meals such as a nice, piping hot Irish stew on a cold winter’s day. Or potatoes! They’re versatile and part of a stable diet!
Dislikes:
✗Dealing with money: Ireland is terrible with money and often gets into serious debt. She isn't exactly organised when it comes to finance.
✗Sexism: Ireland has strong feminist ideology and believes that women are just as strong as men. She can get incredibly angry if anyone says otherwise...
✗Football: One of the only sports Ireland cannot play. It's a rubbish sport, and the Irish national team is pretty terrible at it. That just proves how bad it is.
✗Rain/storms/cold/bad weather in general: Ireland likes being outside, and hates it when she ends up being cooped up indoors because of bad weather.
✗Mornings: Ireland is not a morning person at all, and 99.9% of the time is in an incredibly bad mood when she wakes up. Besides, mornings are when hangovers are at the worst.
✗People not being able to pronounce her name: It's just a little pet peeve, but it really irritates Aoife when people call her “A-oi-fe”. She usually just tells people she’s called Eva to make things a bit easier for them.
✗Being proven wrong: Aoife is ridiculously stubborn, and can’t stand it when she’s not right about something. She’ll get quite stroppy if she is proven wrong.
✗Her eyebrows: They are quite large and cause a great deal of embarrassment to her, especially when people point them out. Besides, they show that she's related to
Strengths:
+Ireland is proud and will stand up for her beliefs until the end.
+Ireland has a lot of physical strength. After growing up in quite a harsh past and being surrounded by men for the majority of her life, plus spending a lot of time farming, Ireland is a lot stronger than she appears to be. She is a good fighter. Ireland's been in her fair share of pub brawls and fights throughout history. She can hold her own easily. Of course, she's not invulnerable in a fight, but she certainly won't go down without one.
+When she's in a good mood, Ireland seems to have a way about her of making people feel better~
+Ireland has a strong tolerance, which comes from centuries of hard work and fighting. She has a high pain threshold.
Weaknesses:
-She is incredibly stubborn, so much so she’ll ignore advice from others and do her own thing, even if that that thing is totally stupid.
-Piss her off and... oh dear. She has a bad temper when angered, and when it comes out it scares most people away.
-Ireland doesn't often plan ahead. She just goes in all guns blazing. Not exactly the best battle strategy.
-Compliment her, and she become incredibly embarrassed. So much so she can be distracted or taken advantage of.
Fears:
~Snakes: Ireland suffers from Ophidiophobia after a bad experience with snakes before Saint Patrick came along and got rid of them all. Snakes are probably the one thing that really terrifies her.
~Loosing her independence: Ireland spent centuries fighting for her freedom, and the idea of becoming under somebody else's rule again is terrible for her.
~Never seeing her twin again: They haven't spoken since the Irish Civil War, and Ireland's worried she'll loose him.
Secrets:
•Ireland is not proud to admit it, but she was a member of the IRA. Because of this, she knows how to make home-made bombs. However, she is deeply ashamed that she was ever associated with terrorists, and refuses to speak of her time with them. Only her brothers know about it, because they were directly affected.
•She recently has developed a love for yaoi after spending too much time with Hungary at the EU meetings.
•She is bisexual.
Any Quirks/Habits: Ireland always needs to have a lucky trinket on her. Be it her lucky earnings, a rabbit foot keyring, charm bracelet or a lucky pendant, she can't leave home without something. Also, due to the fact she is Catholic, she'll often start praying or cross herself when she's anxious or nervous.
Overall Personality: When you first meet the Irishwoman, she comes across as incredibly friendly. Ireland is a cheerful, bright woman who always does her best to look on the bright side of life. Her happy-go-lucky attitude and bubbly personality, along with the constant smile she wears, makes her appear to be an incredibly jolly character. She is sociable and loves to be with people, and seems to enjoy spreading her optimism. She is most lively when at the pub, and often ends up totally drunk. Not that it matters, her care-free attitude means she doesn’t worry about the consequences of her action. Aoife insists she is lucky, even though she’s had a pretty up and down past and not exactly the best time when it comes to finance. When it comes to work, Aoife is careless. She can be clumsy and sometimes a bit of an airhead. Work is never a priority for her, which has been proven by her awful money managing skills. She can be quite meddlesome; enjoying sticking her nose into other people's business every now and then. This often gets her into quite a lot of trouble. Ireland has a bad mouth; a trait which either ran in the family or she picked up from spending so much time in the company of young men. But she was brought up in a way that she hardly uses it, only when she can't contain her anger any longer.
However, she's not all smiles and sunshine. Like the stereotype of redheads, Aoife is a fiery and feisty woman who knows how to stand her own ground and has a short temper. This redhead has a slightly dark side to her. When really angered, she becomes ruthless and will not care if she hurts anyone mentally or physically. She’s been through plenty of fights in her past, and has a temper to prove it. You do not want to piss her off, for when she gets really angry, she can scare pretty much anyone with a glare. Luckily that side of her is one that comes out rarely.
Ireland has a rebellious streak and enjoys going against the rules every now and then. She is a rough, tough woman who does not like to be messed around with, and will certainly hold her own in a fight. Her time in the countryside has made her strong and independent. She is also extremely proud and stubborn, and hates to be proven wrong. Her opinion is important to her, and she won’t let anybody change it easily. She will always be ready to get into a fight/brawl with anyone who tells her she’s wrong or anyone who undermines her. Her pride for women in particular is a sensitive topic to discuss with Aoife, and saying anything negative about females will result in a black eye. That or, when she’s tired or drunk, she’ll end up in tears. The worse time to irritate or insult her is in the morning, as that is when she’s most grumpy and least forgiving.
Despite this rather tom-boyish side to her, Ireland does have some girly traits. She is incredibly beautiful, something she seems oblivious to. Whenever she is complimented, she comes over all shy and embarrassed as attention is not something she is used to. She can also be a bit of a flirt with attractive people, and will become rather giggly around someone she fancies.
Aoife was brought up to respect others and be polite, a trait which she does show for the majority of the time. Although she would rather be independent, she is loyal and a good friend to have by your side. She loves being surrounded by people, so is incredibly out-going with friends or strangers. She doesn’t mind being alone, but would rather be surrounded by people. Being alone for too long makes her become quite worried and anxious about her friends/family.[/size][/ul]

There were times when Aoife O’Neill would close her eyes, and instantly she’d be back home. A warm breeze would softly blow around her, running through her red locks and sending them gracefully flying around her. The soft sun would be gently beating down on the lush, emerald green field she was standing in, all alone. It was so peaceful that she felt if she would lie down she would instantly fall asleep. Pure and utter bliss. The breeze made the grass beneath her bare feet shudder with a peaceful sigh, causing the tiny wet dew drops to scatter around and make a few land on her toes. A smile parting on her lips, Ireland slowly cocked her head back and breathed in deeply, absorbing the fresh scent of the morning. But, no matter how much she dreamed, no matter how much she longed for Ireland, Aoife knew that as soon as she opened her eyes her paradise would crumble away from her again. And sadly, she knew she couldn’t dream all day. No matter how tempting it was sometimes.
With a heavy sigh, Ireland reluctantly opened her heavy eyelids, rubbing her dull green eyes wearily. Aoife was not home, far from it. Stuck in Canada, under the constant threat of zombie attacks. What a wonderful way to live.
Ireland groaned slightly as she cocked her head back, resting it against one of the supports behind her. She was meant to be on look-out in the scouting tower, but eventually ended up sitting down and dreaming. Again.
With a groan, the woman ran her hands over the rifle at her side as she glanced out over the surrounding area. Her eyes briefly landed on the remains of the old capital. It sent a shiver down her spine- just the sight of so much destruction. She felt homesick... she wanted to be away from all this.
