Canada sighed since he really didn't know why he was visiting his brother. He had just arrived in DC and was getting his bags and his bear Kumajirou from the baggage claim. Canada took his bear out of the animal carrier that he was in and set him down on the ground before picking up his bags and leaving the airport. Kumajirou followed out on his heels when he left the airport he put down his bags. Pulling out his cellphone scrolling down to America’s name debating whether or not to call him or text him to tell him that he had arrived or just go to his hotel.
Canada settled on going to a hotel and going to his brother’s place either later today or tomorrow. Hailing a cab when one stop near him he put his luggage in the trunk and got into the backseat of the cab. Canada asked the driver to take him to the Donovan House by the time they cab stopped at the Donovan House Hotel he was half asleep. Canada paid the driver picking up his bear he got out and got the out and put him back down so he could get his bags. After getting them out of the trunk he walked into the hotel with a white bear following beside him.
Canada had reserved a room here when his boss had told that he got some time off from work. He was given his room key he went up to his room putting his bags down once he unlocked the door. Canada went straight back to sleep on the bed with his bear curled up next to him. He just hoped that his brother wouldn’t bother him for a while since he was tired to deal with him at the moment.

Alfred knew that he should be expecting his brother to drop in, though he wasn't entirely sure when. He thought he'd written the date down on his calendar, but as it turned out he had no such luck. He was just about to give up when he heard an alarm on his phone go off. He dug the device out of his pocket, peering at the little message popping up on the touch screen, announcing that his brother's flight was supposed to have come in already. The corners of Alfred's mouth turned into a grin. Perfect!
Alfred first drove to the airport, hoping to meet Matthew as soon as he got off the plane. Unfortunately, as it turned out, the flight the northern brother arrived on had landed over an hour before, and the passengers of said flight were long gone by now. Alfred sighed in frustration. Operation Surprise Mattie At The Airport was apparently a failure. The airport employee he asked, however, squinted at him. "I saw a guy who looked a lot like you hail a cab about an hour ago. Strange guy too, he had a miniature polar bear with him! Could that be who you're looking for?"
Alfred let out a whoop of delight. "That's exactly who I'm looking for. That's my bro! Do you know where he headed?"
The man was surprised at Alfred's show of excitement, especially given how shy and mild-mannered his apparent brother was. Nevertheless, he answered the young nation's question. "I overheard him asking the driver to take him to the Donovan House Hotel..."
Before the man could say more, Alfred had already turned around and was headed back toward the door. "Thanks dude!" He called out over his shoulder, leaving the man standing there bemused.
A fight with Washington D.C. traffic and a McDonald's run later, Alfred finally arrived at the entrance of the hotel. He strode confidently up to the welcome desk, where a young woman sat and glanced up at him. "Hello, Mr. Will...wait, you aren't Mr. Williams." She murmured quietly, not realizing that she'd provided Alfred with just the answer that he was looking for.
"No, I'm not Mr. Williams, but I'm looking for him! I'm his brother! Can you tell me what room he's staying in?" The young woman looked over Alfred. It was standard not to give out room numbers to people who just asked for them, at least not without asking the patron first, but there was something odd about Alfred - Something that told her that, despite his overly forward and obnoxious demeanor, she could trust him with the information. That and he looked so much like the Mr. Williams she'd just admitted...yes, she could definitely buy the idea that they were brothers. She informed him of what room Matthew was staying in, and Alfred was on his way, whistling his national anthem animatedly as he did so.
Finally, he arrived outside of his brother's door, and finally, without a second thought, he began to knock on the door. At least he had the presence of mind to hold back on his strength when he did so? Nevermind that he was knocking to the tune of 'O Canada', and rather loudly at that... "Hey Mattie, it's Al! Why didn't you call and tell me you were here?" Well, if the knocking hadn't woken him up already, Alfred's yelling most likely had. He didn't even stop to think that Mattie might not have told him on purpose, that he might want to rest up.

Matthew was asleep until he heard somebody knocking at the door Mattie groaned and sat up sleepily since he had gotten about a half an hour worth of sleep. When he heard Al Mattie groaned again there was a reason why he hadn’t called him when he arrived. Mattie mumbled something in French before getting up and opening the door for him. He opened up the door to let him “Al the reason I didn’t call you is because I am tired and I wanted to sleep first”, Mattie mumbled. Mattie sighed he really wished he could just go back to sleep.
Mattie gestured for him to come in the room thinking *Well it was peaceful while it lasted*. His bear was up and was grumbling about noisy Americans and brothers. Mattie yawned and moved away from the door leaving it opens so he could come. Walking back over to the bed and sat down on it trying not to fall asleep again even though he wanted to. Mattie picked up Kumo and held him he knew that he wasn’t going to be able to go back to sleep for a while now. Since Al was here Mattie wandered what he wanted to do now before he ended up falling asleep again.

The blond continued to knock on the door in a musical fashion, waiting (im)patiently for his brother to answer the door. Alfred smiled when the door finally swung open, revealing his brother. Alfred strode forward with a grin on his face and proceeded to hug Matthew. "It's good to see you, bro! How have you been?"
In his excitement, he didn't catch what the northern nation was saying to him. "What was that, Mattie? I didn't hear you." Though their voices were similar, there were huge differences in the manner that they spoke. While Matthew tended to murmur and speak softly, Alfred spoke loudly. The volume of his voice tended to increase when he was excited, meaning that he was speaking at a near yell at this point. Given that, it was easy to understand why Alfred didn't actually catch what his brother was saying to him.
When Matthew left the door open, Alfred took the invitation to come in at once. Mattie took the bed that Alfred was planning on flopping down on to get comfy, so Alfred decided to take a seat in a chair a few feet away from the bed. It wasn't quite as comfortable as a bed, but it would do for now. Come to think of it, though, why was Mattie staying in a hotel in the first place? Alfred had plenty of room at his house! "Why didn't you just come straight to my place? Everything's all set up for you!" Alfred didn't realize that the answer to his question was the same as the answer to his previous question, or close to it. The chances of Mattie getting any chance to sleep at Alfred's house on his first day there were incredibly slim.
Unfortunately for Mattie, it looked as though things wouldn't be much different at the hotel. Alfred shifted a little in his seat, waiting for Mattie's answers to his questions.

Mattie sighed but hugged him back no matter how much his brother annoyed him."It is good to see you again too Al.I've been good and you",Mattie asked him softly.Kuma didn't even look up when he heard them not really caring.Mattie rubbed his eyes he was basically fighting off sleep while he was standing there.Leaving the door open for him he walked over to the bed and sat down.
Mattie sighed he kind of figured that his brother hadn't heard at him."I said the reason I didn’t call you is because I am tired and I wanted to sleep first”,he said quietly repeating what he told him earlier.Mattie didn't understand why his brother had to be so loud about things. He laid back on the bed and listened to his brother talk he just wanted to go back to sleep.Mattie didn't reply to his question since he had already told him why.Groaning Mattie sat back and said "Maybe because I wanted to get some sleep". Mattie turned towards Al knowing he now wasn't going to get any sleep here or at his house.

When Matthew returned the hug, Alfred grinned and gave his brother a few pats on the back. He made sure to hold back on his strength, as he didn't particularly wanted to hurt the northern nation. Not that Mattie was weak - In fact, Alfred considered him to be one of the stronger nations of the world, even if he didn't get a chance to show it much. Nevertheless, Alfred was born with superhuman strength, and so very few could actually match that strength. In fact, Alfred only found one other nation who could thus far, and that rivalry very nearly brought out the end of the world.
Alfred very nearly missed Matthew's commentary once more, but fortunately his close proximity to Mattie allowed him to hear what his brother was saying. "I've been great! Just getting the house ready for ya! Had to kick Tony out of your usual room. He had a few projects going on in there. Hope he doesn't have anything weird still lingering in there. You really never know with him." For a moment or so, Alfred looked concerned, before the smile crept back onto his face. "Oh well! I'm sure he'll be able to fix it if anything goes wrong."
He eyed his brother over his glasses for a reaction, the grin still on his face. He was messing with Matthew, and he wanted to see how the other reacted. Yes, Tony had used the room to store a few of his supplies, but the chances of something actually happening as a result were slim to none. Canada didn't know that, though, and Alfred wanted to see if he could catch his brother off guard. That was what brothers did, right? They teased!
Alfred frowned a little as he finally caught what the northern nation was saying. "You're tired?" Well. That sorta did explain a few things. "You should have just come to my place! The bed there is a lot more comfy than this hotel."

Mattie nodded before pinching the bridge of his nose and saying "Really Al". Mattie didn't like the way he had said that or his smile. He remember the last time someone had told him Mattie shivered at the memory.Mattie groaned thinking "Great might just be safer here" but he knew if he stayed here Al would still bug him.He grumbled something in French again annoyed.
All he could do to his next question was nod but still said "It may be uncomfortable here but at least it is quiet."
