When I look into all of your stupid faces
I think how fun it will be to pound them into dust
Hair: a very bright BLOND
Height and Weight: 180 cm && 80.29 kg
Other Distinguishing Features:
Overall Appearance:
Most people can agree that Ludwig isn't a small man. Standing at 180 cm he is tall, but he is also a very solid man. Broad shoulders and muscular, he's 'built like a brick shit house' as some might put it. His eyes are sharp and blue, and they get more intense when the situation calls. His hair is light blond and always kept slicked back; it's generally only unkempt when he first wakes up or he's exercising. He's not a very tan guy, but compared to the ghostly white of his brother, he looks about normal. While he is capable of frivolity and laughter, he typically has a stoic look on his face, or one of a scowl.
He typically wears military uniforms to look sharp, or a suit when at a meeting. He likes to look clean and pressed since it promotes professionalism. When doing something that he will get dirty or when going to bed he wears a simple t-shirt and pants. He always has an Iron Cross on his person, usually in the form of a pendant he keeps around his neck.
He is not one devoid of scars. In fact, he has quite a few of them. He is riddled with evidence of past battles. A large one runs down his inner thigh on his left leg from world war one. A swastika has been carved over his heart from world war two. Another large scar stretches between his shoulders, but he can't remember where this one is from or why he has it. He likes to keep these covered up, for obvious reasons.

Fears:
- children really scare him. he loves kids, but they're so small and seem so easy to break (not that he would do that on purpose, mind you). plus, they just seem to soak up whatever you say or do. how is that not scary?
last thing we need is un mini gilbert running around... - a repeat of the past would be horrible. he doesn't want what happened to be ever happen again. he doesn't want to be a bad guy.
Secrets:
- he really loves the grimms' fairy tales. they're so odd and inventive, plus a little dark; not your standard fare. his favorite is the story called snow white and rose red. he still reads it before he goes to bed sometimes when he knows no one will catch him.
- he remembers being holy rome, but he doesn't remember anything about it. nothing is there, except the faintest wisp of a name. it's so weird knowing he was a child at one point but not being able to recall anything about it. he's never thought much on it though, so he's never mentioned it to anyone, and doesn't see the reason in doing so anyway.
- ludwig's most shocking secret is.... he's actually a virgin. yes, the pretty german manly man has never laid with anyone, be it man or woman. he's so wrapped up in work and things he's never even really tried.
he also totally has a leather fetish, he just doesn't know that yet. hehehe. x3
Any Quirks/Habits:
- he can't make it through a WW2 movie with out crying. even the really stupid ones make him choke up a little. he hates being reminded of the things he was forced to do.
- north italy is just a friend. while he can see where people would get the conclusion they are lovers or something, they're not. he likes feli well enough, but it's a strict BROmance, not romance.
- he likes when non-natives speak the german language. he thinks of it as a compliment. (and secretly deep down he enjoys the strange accents)
- he owns four dogs, all of which are very well trained. Aster, Blackie, Berlitz and Gretal are their names. They seem to be able to sniff out other Nations and Capitals and the like, which is a cool plus. Note that Gretal is a poodle and obviously the leader of this pack.
Overall Personality:
One thing to start off with is that Ludwig is very strict. His life is governed by rules and he very rarely strays from them. He's such a stickler for rules that he likes to make sure others, especially his friends, follow them as well. It pleases him when he sees people following the rules, and it upsets him when he sees people bending or breaking them. He's also kind of a perfectionist, perhaps influenced by his rules love. He hates not doing everything to the best of his ability and never cuts corners. This little fact makes him a bit of a workaholic as well, which never helps.
He can be pretty pessimistic. He likes to think of it as he's being more 'realistic', but he just can't help but think that things will end badly. He's also not to good with emotions. He just can't seem to grasp how he feels, and it almost oblivious to how others feel. It means he can be pretty awkward in most social situations outside of work, and doesn't know how to fix a mess when he's upset someone.
Underneath his strict military attitude, he can be a big softie. He's loyal to a fault to those he trusts and loves, even if he can't express it properly. He loves baking and making sweets, not that he would ever tell anyone. He also has a soft spot for animals, especially dogs, and he loves well written stories. If you bring up any of his softer traits, he also gets red and embarrassed, which only adds to the fact.
