When I look into all of your stupid faces
I think how fun it will be to pound them into dust
Hair: Brown
Height and Weight: 145cm / 31 kg
Other Distinguishing Features: The two floating strands of hair located on the top of his head
Overall Appearance: Singapore looks like a typical Chinese boy though he's a little to the tanner side, being a country who lives close to the equator, so he might sometimes come off as a Malay boy as well. He has a short boy's cut hairstyle that just barely touches his shirt collar at the back and his fringe is styled so that it barely reaches past his eyebrows, which are surprisingly not thick, considering who his previous colonial master was. He has two strands of hair that seem to float about on the top of his head that represents the Sisters islands, two islands that are located south of the mainland. Singapore's hair is also a shade of brown that you can't really tell that its brown unless looking at it under direct sunlight.
As far as children go, Singapore is no exception, with his constant wide-eyed expression, his dark brown eyes are always lively and and full of curiosity with a little hint of mischief now and then. He's not good at hiding his emotions and you can almost always tell how he's feeling from the look in his eyes. He is fairly skinny for someone who enjoys to eat and sleep alot and also considers himself to be quite tall for someone his age. He's usually seen wearing a white, short-sleeved button down shirt or just a plain white singlet on warmer days along with black shorts and a pair of black sneakers. He also carries around a small Merlion stuffed toy.

Secrets:
[/li][li] Still secretly looks up to England even after being surrendered to Japan after World War 2
[/li][li] Afraid of sinking back into obscurity if he doesn't develop fast enough but doesn't want to develop so fast to the point where no one would have the need to care for him anymore either
[/li][li] Despite the law of no chewing gum that's imposed in his country, he still sneaks some into his house once in awhile. Usually getting them from Thailand or Malaysia.
Any Quirks/Habits:
[/li][li] Tend to scrunch up his merlion plushie when he's embarrassed or saying something he knows is wrong but says it anyway
Overall Personality: Despite his age, Singapore still acts very much like a child, often friendly and open, though he can be quite shy to people he's just met. He can also be quite stubborn, is extremely naive and is very nosy as he would like to always poke into other people's business. But there is just one thing that is very un-childlike about Singapore is that he is unbelievably ambitious and competitive. He just wants to be one of those countries whom are able to defend themselves and are able to not have other countries take over their houses. To say the least, Singapore really very much wants to be like America and even looks up to the older nation, often viewing the nation as one of his "heroes". Since it definitely wasn't England who saved him during World War 2.
Despite having a personality almost similar to a child, Singapore is actually very strict on rules and is also quite the neat freak. He especially hates it when people litter in his house. That's also one of the offences you can commit in Singapore's house. You would get fined for littering, no exceptions to visitors or tourists either because there are signs clearly stating what would happen if you were caught littering and Singapore just cannot tolerate the fact that his house is in a mess AND the fact that no one is following the laws of his house. They should know better. And though this would mean that Singapore have alot of money on hand, he is very careful on spending it. Bargaining for things is what he does best and if the thing he really wants costs way too high, then let the bargaining begin. And very often, he would get what he want in the end.
There is this one trait that makes up the very essence of Singapore and that is the fear of losing. Fear of losing money, of losing first place, of losing things that belong to him, of losing everything and everyone to anyone. Singapore is not quite sure whether this came to him just after WW2 or whether it was
there before but the feeling just wasn't as strong. But one thing's for sure, losing is not fun and Singapore sure as heck does not want to lose to anyone ever again as long as he can help it.

You've got it backwards! Backwards!
Hurry up and throw it! If you don't hurry up and throw it, you'll go "boom"!
Singapore sat dangling his legs over the edge of his bed and stares unblinking into the light of the setting sun outside his bedroom window as it starts to sink behind the london skyline. It's been what? A few years since England left for some "business trip" at China's house? The young colony knew that was not the case though. Sure he's been back a few times to check up on things, but he learnt from the people working at England's house that his colonial master was actually fighting in a war. Singapore would ask them once or twice how it was going, they would smile and tell him that everything's going fine and that England would definitely come home soon. But Singapore wasn't born yesterday, and from what he's read from the books lying around England's house, nothing ever goes as being "fine" in wars.
Jumping off his bed, Singapore was about to go bother anyone who wasn't working at that point of time, he would've bothered them anyway even if they were working, and took one last look out of the window. Doing a double take as a horse carriage pulled up in front of the house. Could it be? Singapore pressed his face closer against the window, fogging up the glass with his breath. There's no mistaking the messy blonde hair even under that top hat.
England's back!
Making a dash for the front door, Singapore failed to notice a second figure making it's way out of the carriage right after England. A dark haired boy whose just a little bit older than he is, dressed in a dark red mandarin jacket and carrying a panda.
He was definitely not the first person Singapore expected to be looking at as soon as England got home. What's worse was that this...whoever he is! Was taller than him. "Who is that?" Singapore asked rather rudely, he knew he was going to get told off by England, which he was, but didn't care. It was explained to him that the boy was Hong Kong and he was going to be living with them from now on. Singapore didn't know why, but he sure as heck didn't fancy the idea of someone else living here, that and he just doesn't like the look of the guy's face. And proceeded to tell him so, right when Hong kong said hello in chinese. "Saya tidak suka wajah anda!" And with that, Singapore turned on his heel and made a run for his room before England could say anything.
"He can't even speak English!" Shouting that from his room, Singapore made sure almost everyone in the house could hear that before slamming the door.
