Waiting for us at world's end, the umbrella is raised,
And I know that as long as such a world is here, then all will be all right
Waiting for us at world's end, the umbrella is raised,
And I know that as long as such a world is here, then all will be all right
I Feel Like We're Summoning The Devil
Nickname/Alias: Abigail, Abie, Hat-girl, 'That girl"
Gender: Female
Character Type: Citizen
Country or Country of Origin: Japan (Currently staying in America)
Canon or Original: Original

When I look into all of your stupid faces
I think how fun it will be to pound them into dust
Hair: Light-brown (used to be dark brown in her younger years)
Height and Weight: 5'04"// 132 Lbs.
Other Distinguishing Features:
Often seen wearing a bucket hat almost everywhere and anywhere, perpetual smile on her face, hair dyed in a light-brown color (she used to have dark-brown hair back before she fly off to America) often seen with a cellphone at hand.
Overall Appearance:
The most common thing any normal person would say when describing the female is that she has a long, light-brown hair undearneath the bucket hat that had seen better days, maroon eyes and pale-colored skin as if she was not born in America but somewhere in Asia. Looking more like an Asian than American, she only stands around at five-feet-four and weighted around one-thirty-two pounds, mildly thin for her age. Her attire are mostly consist of down-to-earth colors, shirts and skirts or pants that is easy for her to move around, and a worn-out sneakers that she had since junior years in highschool. In her own opinion, she prefer something comfortable rather than anything fashionable, giving her the 'relaxed, down-to-earth' feel.

Man up or I'll beat you with my peace prize!
- Being a hero to other people (Or... at least, making them smile)
- Nature
- Chocolates
- Mt. Fuji
- Urban legends (the scarier the better)
- Her phone (Where she usually posts her mobile blog)
- Anime, Manga and Super Sentai shows (She's still Japanese at heart, you know)
- Driving
Dislikes:
- Explosion (The 9/11 event might have contributed to that)
- Anyone who are indifferent or cold to their surroundings
- Enclosed spaces
- Snails and Slugs
- Coffee (she have to put a LOT of sugar on that)
- Liver
- Failing internet connection
- her car being broken down from time to time (it tends to do that)
Strengths:
- Positive-thinker
- Optimistic
- Able to exert effort to her work
- Always eager to bring smile to anyone
- Ready to help anyone to become 'anyone's hero'
Weaknesses:
- Somewhat oblivious
- Easily paranoid at any physical contact with large fires or explosion (otherwise, she's good)
- Mind tends to wander to a lot of things
- Conscious to most people's reactions when sad or angry
- Cannot keep focus most of the time in work
Fears:
- Her car breaking down in the middle of a desert (it's her mode of transportation and tries to keep a special care of it, it's a somewhat irrational fear of some sort)
- Large Fire and/or Strong explosions (Her memory was a strong factor of it)
- Being entrapped in closed spaces for longer periods of time (it's not that severe, however, she'll start to panic after two hours or so)
Secrets:
- Abigail owes everything (even her life) to the volunteer rescue worker who first found her after the Attack, but she secretly owes her thanks to the Personification of New York (and, indirectly, to America) for bringing her hopes back up and, for that, she swore that she will pass on that 'help' by being a hero to those close to her and bringing them smiles.
- She watches old-school super sentai shows on her spare time. A friend back in Japan recorded the shows they used to watch back then and sends it to her so she could have something to watch on her spare time. Nobody but her parents knew this secret of hers
- Fancies odd-looking delicacies, for some reason. Her uncle must have influenced her for that
- Secretly wished she was a Superhero. No, literally.
- Bad sense of direction. But Abie tells them that she is 'very good' with directions.
- Keeps saying to people that her hair is natural. She actually have a dark-brown hair and have to dye her hair once every five months.
- For some reason, she will 'pig out' on a Mexican Tacos, especially if it's extra spicy.
Any Quirks/Habits:
- Often shifts part-time jobs to sustain herself. She only lives by herself in an apartment flat somewhere in Manhattan since it's accessible to her college. Her favorite part-time job is 'attending at the comic shop near her home and lift boxes'
- On her free time, she uses her phone to update her mobile blog called "Mirai Nikki". Can be accessible to the net and is in both Japanese and English.
- Both fluent with English and Japanese.
- Often travels abroad with her parents every vacation ever since she was fifteen.
- Drives in an 2009 red Mitsubishi Lancer that her father gave to her when she was nineteen.
- Tries her best to help people, no matter what. Currently, she is trying to start with small things (like helping an old lady cross the road, helping pedestrians, giving food to the hungry and homeless, etc.)
- Always eager to bring anyone with a smile
- Known for her infamous quote, "Smile, go for the mile!"
Overall Personality:
Abigail is a cheerful and eager woman who won't hesitate to help people in need and to bring smile to anyone and everyone she meets and encounter. A dreamer at heart, she is always ready to listen to anyone's dreams and aspiration, not giving up on anyone even if they, themselves, deem to do so. She is merely a simple woman with no extraordinary traits whatsoever, but anyone who knows her will attest that Abigail will strive to make sure that nobody would get lonely, sad and discouraged.
A woman planning to study Law in college so she could become a Lawyer, she was striving to work her best, excerting every effort in her pores to do her part-time job and to balance her studies at the same time. Though she keeps on shifting part-time jobs, it was evident she was doing her best just to sustain herself and her needs. She is a caring child to her parents and a doting niece to her aunt, and a eager friend to anyone. The female seems giddy at any mention of her home-country's culture (or just mention Anime/Manga to her and she's going to have a tirade of how awesome they are, though she mostly fancies the 90's era of shows.
Abie can be a bit forgetful at times, usually due to her head sometimes being stuck in the clouds, and is mildly clumsy from time to time. Though she is not easy to anger, it is safe to say that she gets frustrated to stuff she cannot understand, a stubborn individual who doesn't give up at the point of being annoying to a fault. Due to her past experience, despite trying her best to smile and be cheerful, Abie is easily traumatized when the memories of the 9/11 Attack occurs (Considering her birthday is right next to that fateful date) and tends to become quiet, inattentive to anyone and shaky. However, it seems she is easy to be shaken out of the funk (probably after a day has pass or so).
Nevertheless, Abigail may be a normal person living in a (somewhat) normal lifestyle, but it was evident to her eyes that she is willing to become anyone's 'hero' and to bring smile to anyone and everyone she meets.

I'm the hero!
Born on the 10st of September of 1991, Akira Matsumae was the first child of a Japanese parents living the bustling capital of Tokyo, Japan around the Odaiba district. As a young child, she was frail and somewhat sickly, oftentimes prompted to stay indoors at all times until the tender age of 5. It was only at this age that she was allowed to go outside freely and enjoy with her fellow kids her age though she was a bit of an awkward child and having difficult time interacting with them. Still, it didn't stop the young brunette from trying her best to gain friends. Due to her great influence of watching TV back home while her parents are off to work (namely Anime and Super Sentai), the child further wanted to try her best to be friends with then and reasoned that she'll 'be a superhero!' just to prove to them that she will dedicate herself to her friends.
At age ten, a day after her birthday, Akira- with her family- visited their relatives in America as she was given a chance to tag along with one of her favorite uncle to his work in the World Trade Center when the September 11 attack happened. At that time, the brunette decided to explore a bit on the ground floor after buying some snacks outside the building, oblivious of the following events that happened. Just when she was hanging out in the lobby, she heard a loud explosion, followed by people screaming and the following things were hazy for the young child- the next thing she realize, she was trapped all alone in the debris that fell down on her, blocking any leads of exit for her and rendering her trapped along with some dead bodies of those who got caught with the falling debris. Sustaining only minimal injuries (so far), the child was crying for help, sitting in one corner and awaiting someone to get her- her uncle, his workers, practically anyone- and it was roughly around 24 hours after the attack before she was finally saved by the firemen and volunteer workers who took the debris off blocking her chance of escape. By then, however, she was traumatized not only by the prologue solitude but the sight of dead bodies around her and the continuous explosions that she heard. As for her uncle, however, he was one who did not survived, sending the child completely traumatized and needed medical attention.
The following months wasn't easy for Akira as she spend most of her days mute, locking herself to her room and not interacting with anyone even her friends. Upon returning to Japan, she did not attended school for a few weeks, following her therapy that her parents hoped it would help her cope with her trauma. On her second trip to America at age 14, Abigail was starting to become a recluse and rarely interact with almost anyone and, in hopes that it might cheer her up, her parents decided to have her stay to her relatives in America for the summer. They were weary at first since they'll be staying at New York- specifically to the same state where the 9/11 Attack happened- but her aunt (whose husband died on the same event for four years now) reassured them that she'll take good care of Akira.
For a while, the female was scared to go outside and venture further, but her aunt coaxed her that everything will be fine and, scared of worrying her aunt to death, she decided to spend some time outside and roam around the city. On her excursions, the now-quiet woman stumbled herself into one of the lesser-known parks of the city, decided to take a break from her aimless wandering, and there she met a stranger by chance, a young, blonde-haired man who seem to be a few years older than her. At first, she was wary at this stranger especially when he talked to her, but for some reason she couldn't help but point out how he look strangely familiar, as if she have seen him before. It turns out, he was the one of the 'volunteer rescuer' who manage to pull her out from the debris and saved her, as he recognize the female as the one he had saved. He was wondering how she was, startling her but otherwise replied diligently, noticing how she seem a bit distant to other people. Realizing that it must be from the post-trauma stress, the man decided to have her get to know a 'friend of his', hoping that it'll at least pull her out from the dumps.
As soon as he came back with his 'friend', it was the first time Akira met face to face with none other than the 'Embodiment' of New York (at first, she was laughing at him for that joke but when he cleared that it was no joke, she still couldn't believe him). For a while, she stared at him, not sure how to react or otherwise, but when her savior reassured that he is fully aware of what happened back in September 11, and reassured that he(New York) feel her loss as well as to everyone else, she realized they weren't joking around at all. Her aunt was surprised that, when she came back, Akira was looking happier than she would have been in years after the event, unaware of her promise she told to both her savior and to the personification that she will 'bring back people's smiles' and promised that she will become a better, more cheerful person when she returned.
It wasn't until she was Seventeen when her parents finally migrated to America to be with their relatives, bringing their daughter with them. Changing their names for the American citizenship, she was given the name 'Abigail Salem' and taking residence in New York. At Twenty-one, she is currently staying on an apartment flat by herself located somewhere in Manhattan, near the Ground Zero, taking up college course (while still looking for a stable, part-time job to sustain her needs) and oftentimes taking casual trips to her parents' and aunt's house from time to time. Abigail's experience in the Twin Towers is still fresh from her memory that still won't let go no matter what (thus bringing her nightmares from time to time especially around the day of her birthday) but the meeting of both her savior and New York himself is also there, reminding her that not only she isn't the only one suffered from the fate but she have to move on with her life and show that she can jump back up, show to other people that they can too, and bring a smile.
As she usually says...
"Smile, go for the mile!"
