That's the way I've always been.
No matter what state I'm in,
I'm in a southern state of mind.}

When I look into all of your stupid faces
I think how fun it will be to pound them into dust
Hair: Dirty blond
Height and Weight: 5'10”, 147 lbs
Other Distinguishing Features: Almost always wears his hair long, to about the bottom of his shoulder blades.
He also wears two chains around his neck constantly. The shorter chain has a blue-painted star pendant on it with a '1' engraved on the back. The longer chain is the same, except the star is painted red.
Gage also has very distinctive burn scars on the left side of his face, neck, and chest from the burnings done by the Union army near the end of the Civil War.
Overall Appearance: Gage is a young man of slightly above average height and lean build, with broad shoulders. He's very tan from spending most of his time outside, as well as muscled for the same reason. He wears his hair long, bangs to about his jaw, and the rest of his hair to about the bottom of his shoulder blades. He's more on the lanky side, and tends to wear worn and old clothing when in private, while if he's out or has company, he'll wear dressier clothes. He also goes barefoot when possible.

- (Quite secretly) The Northern states, which he usually hides.
Secrets: As good terms as he is on with the rest of the USA, he still wishes his Dixieland was it's own country.
Any Quirks/Habits:
- He doesn't just say 'The South'. He says 'My Dixie'.
- His drawl gets worse around Northern states in attempt to aggravate them.
- He also sings confederate and revolution songs frequently -often subconsciously.
Overall Personality: Gage is obnoxious. And he knows it. It's his personal goal in life to drive everyone he knows insane. However, he really only does this to people he knows well, and even that's limited to men. He was raised not only puritan, but also like a Plantation owner's son. So despite his grating and irritating tendencies, he's also all chivalry and manners with strangers and women. He'll also, generally, tone down his annoying behaviour when he's around people he's alone with someone he genuinely likes, because then he doesn't have a reputation to uphold.
He's also rather narcissistic. He enjoys rubbing it in that he was the first of the Colonies to leave England, and that he was the first state to secede. He likes showing off all the things he's good at or things his state is known for. He's also always had, since he was a colony, the habit of always responding when someone is calling. Regardless of which of his names it is, or even if it's just the phrase 'Hey you!', he'll respond near immediately, as he's 'the most important person here'.
