Mackenzie (Ottawa) Brûlé
I Feel Like We're Summoning The Devil
Nickname/Alias:Kenzie, Otty, Bytown
Gender: Female
Character Type: Capital
Country or Country of Origin: Canada
Canon or Original: Original

When I look into all of your stupid faces
I think how fun it will be to pound them into dust
Hair: Dirty blond
Height and Weight: 5'8", 145lbs
Other Distinguishing Features: She wears glasses, and you'll often find her hair in pigtails.
Overall Appearance:
When you first look at her, you'll note that Mackenzie looks a lot like her nation. Nevertheless, there are some notable differences. Mackenzie's face has softer features. Her dirty blonde hair falls past her shoulders, and she'll often have it pulled back either into a pony tail or, more often, pigtails. She stands fairly tall for a female, at 5'8", but when one considers she's the capital of the second largest nation in the world, it makes more sense. She's at a relatively average weight, a bit on the skinny side. She also wears glasses, and unlike some female capitals, can usually be seen in rather conservative clothing.

Man up or I'll beat you with my peace prize!
Dislikes: When people say Canadians live in igloos, dressing provocatively, bad hair days, messes, and earthquakes
Strengths:
Cleanliness - Ottawa has been ranked the second cleanest city in Canada and the third cleanest city in the world. Mackenzie likes keeping things clean and neat, and usually never has a problem with losing anything.
Easy going - Mackenzie is generally an easy person to get along with. Like her nation, she's widely known as a peacekeeper.
Good hostess- Mackenzie is host to a lot of events in Canada, meaning that she's had quite a bit of time to balance her skills as a hostess over the years. As such, most who do visit her will inform you that she's a very diligent hostess who tries her best to make sure that you enjoy your time within her limits.
Curling - Though she enjoys playing hockey, curling is her favorite sport to play, and she's pretty good at it too.
Weaknesses:
Sports - Mackenzie tends to get very into her sports. She has several sports teams, and while she's usually easygoing, if you catch her in the middle of a game you might notice that she has a habit of yelling at the game/TV screen.
Prone to worry - As mentioned earlier, Mackenzie is not fond of messes. It's to the point where if too much is out of place, Mackenzie will actually start to panic. She has a specific way she organizes things, and if you mess with that? Well, you're in trouble.
Maple syrup - ...though she's loathe to admit it, she does have a fondness for maple syrup, and will put it in a lot of things. Don't go insisting that it's a 'Canadian' thing though, or she will be annoyed. She might not bite your head off, because that's not her style, but she will glare at you.
Fears:
Messes - Yes...she actually fears messes. There's a reason why she's the third cleanest city in the world, folks. Actually, it's not so much that she outright fears messes as she fears not being able to find what she needs. Messes don't bother her as much out of her own borders, but she has a certain way she likes everything of hers and hates when it gets too confusing.
Disappointing guests - Mackenzie prides herself on attracting tourists, and she'd hate for them to leave with a bad impression of her. Therefore, she does her best to make sure that they leave happy.
Secrets: She takes her sports seriously and is a fierce competitor, though you wouldn't expect it from looking at her.
Any Quirks/Habits:
In her home, she has certain places where she keeps certain things, and moving those too far from those areas will tend to make her freak. She also has tendency to twirl one of her pigtails around her finger when she's nervous (it's usually the right one, if anyone wants to know XD).
Overall Personality:
Mackenzie is generally pretty easy to get along with. She's friendly, without being too overly outgoing, and though she can be a little shy around people she's just meeting she's quick to warm up to them. She's a tourist city and a capital, she wouldn't last very long if she was too shy.
She can have a temper, but it doesn't come out very often, and it's not very fiery. Rarely will you catch her yelling, screaming, or being violent unless it happens to be toward the TV when one of her sports games is on - or when she's playing a sport herself. Otherwise, she shows her anger through glares or being abnormally quiet.
Mackenzie does have a tendency to want things to be orderly, and tends to grow upset if they aren't. While she knows she can't control matters outside of her borders very well and has accepted that, she's very particular about where things go and how clean things are within them.
