When I look into all of your stupid faces
I think how fun it will be to pound them into dust
Hair: Sunshine blond
Height and Weight: 5’4” and 114 lbs
Other Distinguishing Features:
The most distinguishing feature about Tristan isn’t something you can see, it’s something you can smell. It’s comes from the overwhelming sweet, syrup-like scent of molasses coming from every inch of his body. Even his hair, no matter how much shampoo he tries to use the scent won’t go away. It’s very strong smelling too where not even cologne will drown out the smell and only mix causing an unpleasant smell with the combination of the two scents. The scent’s all thanks to the Great Molasses Flood of 1919 where the lasting effects of the flood are shown through his sweet smell an ever present reminder of a horrible tragedy. In very hot weather the smell of molasses is even strong smell than it was before.
Another noticeable feature is a long healed stitches from the top of his shoulder blade all the way down to his waist alongside his back. One can see stitches use to be present at some point because of the long opened scar and small dots on both sides of the scar. It’s not a straight scar either and twisted this way and that all the way to the length of his waist. It came from the 6.0 and 6.3 Richter scale dubbed the 1755 Cape Ann Earthquake that shook Boston and caused Tristan’s skin on his back to break and need multiple stitches.
A gunshot scar on his chest from when he was shot during the Boston Massacre while trying to protect his people from being killed and ended up getting shot himself. Naturally it didn’t kill him, but it left behind a scar still.
All the way across the front of his neck is a line from when he was mistaken for a woman, because of his small frame, by the Boston Strangler in 1963. It’s hardly noticeable unless someone walks very close to him since the weapon used to strangle him with was a nylon stocking.
Tristan has his share of burns from different burn disasters throughout his history, but his main burn from his torso and his legs from his kneecaps to his ankle comes from the Great Boston Fire of 1872. The horrible burn’s third degree on both his torso and his legs.
Overall Appearance:
One glance at Tristan and you’ll see him as a woman with a flat chest. The unusually small frame for a man, baby-face and naturally rosy cheeks making him appear to have blush on confuse people each time. Most of the time it’s the small frame with no muscle mass whatsoever that makes people come to that conclusion. It seems like no matter how hard Tristan tries to build muscle not even a muscle bulge appears. He doesn’t even have broad shoulders or shoulder pads to make him look like it. He’s short and thin and some might even think of him as doll with not just his frame, but appearance in general and it’s not something that Tristan likes to hear about either and will beat the crap out of anyone who comes him a doll because to him that’s just as insulting as being called a girl or baby-face.
Tristan wears his hair back in a small ponytail at times adds to it. He can be seen walking down the street with his hair tied into a ponytail rather than having his hair down. Tristan doesn’t want to cut his hair because he likes the length of it, but he also doesn’t want to leave it hanging which he believes makes him look more like the a girl than having it tied in a ponytail. To Tristan having his hair tied back’s less girly looking, but even then people mistake him from a girl. No matter how many times people mistake him for being a girl Tristan won’t have a more boy-ish hair cut. Part of him thinks that no matter what he does people will think of him as a woman because he can’t change the features in his face unless it involves plastic surgery and he won’t go through with that either.
As for clothing he likes to wear anything he believes people will think a boy and only a boy will wear, but still people mistake him for a girl. He likes wearing all different kind of t-shirts even if it’s cheap brand names. Tristan really isn’t picky, but he won’t go out there buying a t-shirt meant for men that’s pink because he knows people will say something. He doesn’t mind if Alfred does, but anyone else he will beat them up. [/ul]
Man up or I'll beat you with my peace prize!
- sports, but mostly baseball
although he’s not picky about his sports baseball really is his favorite one
- Boston Red Sox
he’ll do anything to get season tickets to see the Boston Red Sox playing and cheer them on, he’s crazy about the Red Sox
- playing baseball
not only does he love watching it, but he loves playing it too and he’s a great first basemen too
- Alfred
really, really likes Alfred so much he won’t care if he calls him a girl and will beat people up for Alfred if he’s upset and Tristan finds out who made Alfred upset
- coffee regular
loves the coffee with two sugars and light cream
Dislikes:
- anything British from Arthur himself to tea and scones
has a terrible grudge against Arthur he still can’t get over
- molasses
thanks to the Great Molasses Flood of 1919 he can’t stand molasses, but he has to walk around smelling like it which he hates even more
- being hit on because men think he’s a girl
he wouldn’t mind going out with another man, but when they only ask because they get he’s a girl really pisses him off
- the Yankees
hates the New York Yankees with a passion
- not being able to tell everyone he’s Boston
hates keeping that secret from his people
- Tony the Alien
he doesn’t like visiting Alfred when Tony’s around because he keeps picturing the alien trying to dissect him
- Ivan and Russians in general
hates him just because of the Cold War and Ivan hugs Alfred and all those movies where Russians are bad guys and Americans are good guys
- flying
can’t stand being on an airplane anymore and extremely nervous when he has to be on one
Strengths:
- loyal to his country enough to beat the crap out of anyone who makes Alfred upset
- a fighter (might be thought of as a weakness too)
- highly intelligent
- has hyperthymesia (the ability to recall nearly every experience in his life in great detail which might also be thought of as a weakness too)
Weaknesses:
- doesn’t think about the consequence of things
- short fuse
- terrible driver
- holds grudges
Fears:
- another earthquake even higher on the Richter scale that would cause another scar and require even more stitches
- Alfred and Arthur getting romantically involved with one another, mostly because he still has a crush on him
- being dissected by Tony the Alien when he goes to visit Alfred
- being involved in another plane crash
Secrets:
- developed a crush on Alfred after he came to his aid in the Boston Massacre
- deathly afraid of Tony the Alien because he thinks he’s out to take over the world or will try to dissect or experiment on him
Any Quirks/Habits:
- rubs the back of his neck or runs his hand through his hair when he’s really nervous about something
- wears his hair back in a small ponytail all the time
- beats up a lot of people even those he has no chance of winning against
- makes threats he can’t keep
Overall Personality:
It doesn’t take someone a long time to realize how hot headed and rude Tristan can be toward everyone other than Alfred. It’s more noticeable when someone cuts him off when he’s driving, bumping into him on the streets and just trying to talk to him on a bad day will all bring up his rude nature. Tristan will normally say whatever that pops in his head like seeing a pencil thin person on the street he might say “there’s someone who throws up everything they eat” or when someone bumps into him he’ll glare at them and say something like “are your eyes broken? Watch where you’re going.” He’ll insult anyone even people who just walk right by him just because he can. It seems like Tristan’s always picking a fight waiting for that one person who wants to fight him, but he’s not really doing that. Tristan just wants to voice his opinion and most of the time it’s filled with rude, bitter and cold things. Having a temper and being rude are two things that don’t go well together because if someone gets pissed at what he says chances are a fight isn’t too far from there.
Not only does he have a short temper, but he’s pretty much a fighter. He’ll literally fight with anyone who upsets Alfred or those who pick fights with him even though he probably started it through an insult. The last thing that Tristan would do is walk away from a fight even if it’s someone he’ll get his ass handed to him. Tristan would rather be beat until he’s unconscious than walking away from a fight and he has fought until going unconscious, but he never thinks about that before getting ready for a fight.
One might not think it while talking to Tristan, but he’s actually highly intelligent. He knows a lot about the medical field, science, can recite the American Constitution word from word and many other important documents and speeches too and he’s fluent in two different languages: Russian and Chinese because he wants to know what Ivan and Yao are saying at them in their native tongue. He taught himself Russian and Chinese in less than five months each. That’s how smart he is, that and he has hyperthymesia making it where he can remember nearly every event in his life in great detail which makes learning another language easier.
If you ask him about sports Tristan can go on and on about them for hours, especially if it involves his favorite baseball team: the Boston Red Sox. He will also talk bad about the New York Yankees every chance he gets. It’s fun for him to have someone enjoy him in making fun of the Yankees and he’ll try to get Alfred to talk bad about them too and just talk baseball in general. Tristan also talks about football too, but he loves baseball even more than football and will try to get season tickets if he has the money. He’ll also try to score another one for Alfred to tag along with him.
No one should go in the car with Tristan. He’s the worst driver out there. He speeds, he never stops at stop signs and he rashes past red lights. Tristan cuts people off all the time and sometimes tailgates every so often. He likes driving super fast and weaving dangerously in and out of traffic and down the highway. Tristan hates backseat drivers too and will yell at someone, unless Alfred, telling him to slow down and stop driving like this. If Alfred says it he’ll stop drive less dangerously because he asked, everyone else will be yelled at until Tristan’s lungs hurt.
Tristan’s can and will hold a grudge. Since he has a super memory Tristan holds grudges like a car holds gas. He doesn’t forget the pain he felt for anything and will hold onto the grudge because of it which is why his memory’s also a weakness. He hates the British and he hates the Russians because of Arthur and Ivan. He can’t forget the pain they caused Alfred and the pain Arthur caused him too. He won’t let go of his rage no matter what. The pain still feels like yesterday to him.[/ul]
