She's very much the older-sister type, too, what with her kindness, responsibility, and overall skill with children. So... yeah. As long as you treat her with respect, Liz could potentially be your best friend ever, not to mention the most loyal. [/style][STYLE=margin-left: 10px; margin-top: 20px;][/style][STYLE=margin-top: -170px; margin-left: 350px; font-family: arial; font-weight: bold; font-size: 25px; color: #b3878b; line-height: 23px; width: 20px; text-align: center;]E N E M I E S[/style][STYLE=width: 272px; height: 150px; font-family: arial; font-size: 10px; line-height: 10px; padding: 3px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; margin-left: 26px; margin-top: -157px; color: #b3878b; opacity: 0.9;]Elizaveta never backs down in a fight, and that tends to get her into trouble. A lot. Not surprisingly, that has most likely earned her several enemies, or at least caused some of the other nations to have difficulty getting along with her. In addition, her defiance and incredible ability to hold grudges has probably annoyed plenty of nations.
Oh, and it's quite inevitable that Elizaveta will be clashing with Prussia and Romania somwhere along the line, you know. Just thought I'd throw that in there.[/style][STYLE=margin-left: 37px; margin-top:20px;][/style][STYLE=margin-top: -170px; margin-left: 12px; font-family: arial; font-weight: bold; font-size: 25px; color: #b3878b; line-height: 23px; width: 20px; text-align: center;]R O M A N C E[/style][STYLE=width: 272px; height: 150px; font-family: arial; font-size: 10px; line-height: 10px; padding: 3px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; margin-left: 77px; margin-top: -157px; color: #b3878b; opacity: 0.9; margin-bottom: 10px;]To tell the truth, Elizaveta is always going to be somewhat attached to Roderich. That certainly isn't changing anytime soon. As far as she's concerned, though, she's her own country, and she can do whatever the hell she wants. Even if she still has feelings for Austria, she is definitely not trailing after him like a silly lost puppy or anything, especially since they're divorced. Not at all. She's quite determined not to let that happen.
(I'm pretty flexible on this front, really. All suggestions are welcome!)[/style]

America and Hungary
Prior to the dissolution of Austria-Hungary, I don't see these two interacting all that much. Apparently, prior to the end of World War I, all diplomatic relations between Austria-Hungary and the U.S. were conducted in Austria, so there's really very little information about anything with these two prior to that from what I can find. XD
Same site says that the first U.S. diplomatic ambassador to Hungary was appointed in 1922, so I can see some thread potential there, mayhaps.
Ties were severed in 1941 as a result of World War II (Hungary declaring war on the U.S., in fact), then reinstated in 1945.
Their relations continued to be strained until the late 60s and early 70s by the looks of it, and thus I see Alfred and Elizaveta having strained relations during this time as well.
Another idea for a thread might be when Hungary starts to pull away from Soviet influence. Apparently, the U.S. offered assistance when it came to setting up the new economy and such (because Al's always butting his head in...did I say that out loud? XD). Still, it was the start of better relations between them, so...yeah. That's another thing we could thread.
Present day, the two countries are pretty good allies, so I can imagine Alfred and Elizaveta would be on pretty good terms now. Like many others, I could see her getting annoyed with his antics at times, but...yeah, I dunno. I still see them getting along decently in present day. =P
Feel free to add, subtract, comment, or whatever. XD

I'm not gonna tackle history on this one because.... honestly... we got the show Hetalia on that. So I'll go straight to the point.
Italy. Hungary. Needs to interact and post. Even if he's all grown up and lagging behind Germany and all, he still treats Hungary like that older, doting relative that took care of him and made his life as Chibitalia a lot more bearable than before. So, even though, he will always remember the kindness that Hungary gave to him and would sometimes visit her for old time's sake. Anything and everything goes, but I'm sure Hungary will always treat Italy kindly, yes yes?
Ten cents of thoughts on your side? Because, honestly, I watch too much Hetalia to even wonder myself. [/style] |

She and Anastasia share the common hatred dislike with Turkey (though Anastasia is just wary and mildly scared of him more than actual, pure hatred) so they might get along just fine. Since Athens acts (stress on the acts considering her actual state of her nature) like a childish (bubbly and sunny, if not mildly annoying) pre-teen and all, maybe she'll treat Hungary like that of an 'older sister' ('old' sister, if she's in her mischievous days) though, from time to time, she'll talk to her like a civilized, mature woman that she used to be when she was still under Ancient Greece (Considering how most nations thinks that the one serving Ancient Greece is her mom when, in fact, it's Atanasia herself).
Ten cents of thoughts on your side?

When some of Romania's states are taken under Hungary, Transylvania is one of those states that was under her before she was returned to Romania somewhere after WWII. In all honesty, Cosmina is HELLUVA scared of her (for whatever reasons, we'll exploit that when we RP or plot more) and she'll have that inch of fear whenever Liz is around within her vicinity, as if recalling those old days when she was still under Hungary. I also wanted to exploit the era where she was still serving Hungary as a maid and her interaction to her, maybe when before she got a mild fear on the woman just because Cosmina is a clumsy oaf who thinks that if she break something, Hungary will punish her. Well, maybe, somehow, Transylvania will still be civilized, polite and even mildly respectful for the nation, but you can't really blame the female for knowing how Romania and Hungary hate each other to the point that the state actually was taken and served to the nation her old master are having arguements about.
I could go further but I want to hear your input first. I would prod a history on it but I'm on a limited time so... *hangs head in shame*
Ten cents of thoughts on your side?

Post by Theo 'New York City' Armstrong on Nov 25, 2012 14:54:21 GMT -5
I am so tired. Sorry that the post fails.
*takes a deep breath* I'm sorry. Just--yeah. I won't go on like this again, I swear.
Liz, Gilby's childhood friend, or that's how I see it, anyway. Goes without saying that we really need to do plottage.
In the past, I've roleplayed with a Hungary under the impression that he continues to ridicule her about Roddy, as he probably always will, as well as the fact that he'll do absolutely anything and everything to drive her to the verge of insanity, much like Luddy and everyone else, really. Although, of course, he'll go as far as to go out of his way to irritate her, unlike most others, just for her.
Generally, mein Gilby sees her as a very good friend, considering that they've known each other since first becoming nations, (I'll change anything that you would like, though. 's all good! ^^) although he'll never admit it, of course. He's too awesome for human emotions like that. Although, naturally, irritating her would involve teasing her about Roderich, turning up at their house at random intervals, you name it, he'll do it. Though of course, I'm all for anything that doesn't involve him playing the fool as well. I mean, there is so much more to this awesome albino than just pure idiocy. For example, I can see him having feelings for her a little beyond their "Frenemy" relationship that they've got going on, after centuries of being around her, and so his teasing Roderich is his way of expressing himself without showing weakness. Constantly teasing the couple is his, shall we say, attempt at crying out for attention that he may not necessarily get. Though he would never openly express it, Gilbert, in my mind, has somewhat confused feelings for her and despite his better judgement was genuinely disappointed after hearing about Liz getting married. I like to think that he has in the past been hitting on her in the past (eg. his teenage-young adult-kinda years), and possibly still is. Let's put it this way. There's a reason Gil's ex-wife really doesn't like her. XD Liz is probably the closest he got to wanting to cheat on Brandenburg, after all. A least, in the earl years of his arranged marriage. Whether Liza approves of this, is something else entirely, of course. xD Although if uwant her to, I'm up for that, too. So, he'd still flirt with her, though in an overly joking manner, although a small part of him is desperate for her to play along, rather than brush him aside.
I can imagine that he holds a grudge of some description towards Austria for existing these reasons, as well as past wars, and for the simple fact that he blames him for Liz's change of heart when it came to 'living on the edge,' as in his eyes she wouldn't have grown into the mature, ladylike person that she may or may not be, I dunno, had she not met him. Imagine his attitude towards Russia for mistreating his former capital. That is pretty much how he feels about Roddy, though probably not quite as extreme, as in his mind Austria merely treats her like a possession, and keeps her around out of pure lust, which only increases his dislike towards him. I'll explain later. Despite his faults, Gilby will do anything for those he holds dear, friend or otherwise, and though he'll not openly do so or admit to doing it, he will do what he can for them, at all cost. Well, almost. His attitude towards Roddy is an example of him attempting, and failing to help her, although in reality there is nothing for him. to help, anyway. I can see Gilby implying, or on rare occasions openly ranting at her about how she is supposedly being used, and a fair few other things, too. He's not going to tell her he likes her in any way unless forced, guaranteed, due to his sense of self-importance, and honestly he isn't going to be head over heels in love with her. It's a mild crush, possibly a little more, bit nothing else. He will constantly tell himself that she's a friend, nothing more. Whether this is true is irrelevant. His insistence will remain, if anything out of pride.
Gilby misses the old days, without a doubt, and he uses his arrogance and childlike behavior as an outlet to express his frustration at a number of things, such as his dissolution, etc. in a way that doesn't require him to feel embarrassed about speaking to somebody about it, this being an obvious sign of weakness, leading to the bashing of his ego, ultimately. Which would be terrible, of course.
I'm gonna stop rambling now, and hopefully I'll start making sense next post! ^^ and I'm so sorry I made you read that.

Hungary and Brandenburg; So yeah, Ive got Brandenburg, and Lulu here hates Hungary cause ^ that. Lulu did actually love that reject, she's a rather spiteful mean biotch, so expect cattiness, doesn't matter what decade their in. Not much else going on there really except hate, with more hate on top. She doesn't mind Roddy, likes to screw with him just annoy everyone, but we need a Roddy for all those apples o.O
