TERESA "MEXICO" HIDALGO Teresa doesn't really keep in her emotions, unless they're negative-and those come out whenever she's drunk. That is really probably not healthy since it's the negative emotions that get people. She is a true and loyal friend, always funny and caring, though she can be a bit concerned if someone puts themselves down and so tries to raise their spirits. Although she has a fiery temper, she doesn't get bothered by the littlest insult. It all washes right off of her and she's able to keep a cool, collected head. She strays away from letting people close, having spent most of her childhood going from one relative to another. She puts up a front that she's happy but most of the time it's hard for her to feel anything but pain because of all the violence. Resa is an individual and will not back down on any of her values. When she believes in something, you'll have a hard time pulling her away from the issue. She never lets her guard down on anything and always tries her hardest to prepare herself for the unexpected.
Among the North Americans, she always feels like the odd one out because of their status', but, because of that, she is very mature and understanding when dealing with them. She occassionally bosses people around from time to time, as well as nagging them to do the right thing, but she does it all with good intentions. She's nice to all who are nice to her since she believes in the quote 'treat others how you would want them to treat you' but if you make an enemy out of her, it'd be wise to butt out. She isn't gun crazy for nothing. Teresa has a brilliant mind, having learned many things from the Empires that raised her and can reason her way through difficult situations that otherwise stump everyone else. I can see her having a wide range of acquaintances with a small range of friends, possibly no more than 5. She's a very private person and keeps her emotions hidden, not wanting anyone to think her weak for being so sensitive. (Keeping in mind any civil problems she has she tries to hide them from the people around her.) She's very loyal and caring to those she does befriend and will defend them no matter what the circumstance. (i.e, she was the 1st in the Americas to befriend Russia) She can be rather fierce and intimidating when she chooses though that's mainly aimed toward the object of disgust. As of now, Teresa doesn't have any love interests and has never been in a real relationship, having strewn away from any sort of closeness for fear of vulnerability. Though she won't admit it, she fears rejection and is scared to put herself on the line like that. So if you have any ideas, shoot 'em my way, I'm open-minded. (Keep in mind, anything 'mature' related requires a ring on her finger...huzah for being Roman Catholic...) She'd most likely have a lot of enemies, mostly idiots who like to poke fun at her status or any other ghastly thing they can come up with. (Her siblings, her mother, her father, so on and so forth.) She doesn't discriminate based on religion, race, or so on and so forth, so enemies can be from anywhere. ___________________________hey! this plot template was made by tala at CAUTION 2.0. this banner was made by SARABI! at CAUTION 2.0. I'm not sure how you take America and Mexico's general relationship, but I think Alfred would like her. Of course, there are historical differences thanks to Al's pigheadedness and the governments obsession with Manifest Destiny. He basically went along with it so they would finally shut up... then he grew an ego. xD But, I think they would be over all decent friends. Alfred would constantly be butting into her business, though it's well intentioned I assure you; he's really just trying to be polite.
I request that we do some epic Old West roleplays cause I just love that era *and I've never gotten a chance to do this before*.

I always think that they're kinda...'sisterly/brotherly' that get into fights all the time. (That and I'm pretty sure she sneaks into his house to steal his stuff...) Teresa's pretty much all over the whole 'you-stole-my-land-you-JERK' thing. 'pretty much'. :3 I think they would butt heads over that-as well as their respective 'futball/football' sports, but, yeah, I think they'd be friends.
Oh my gosh, yes! XD I love Old West roleplays, but I haven't ever gotten to do one of those, either! :D I soooo call being the bandito who robs the bank! o.o

YESSS~
I've always seen America and Mexico having a mixed relationship back then. xD Like one day, they're out being outlaws together then the next, one of them runs off with the horses. If you get what I'm saying. xDDD

I say Madrid and Mexico should get together at some point! :3 I'm not really sure what their relationship would be like -- maybe like sisters, but that's your call XD

Noelia/Madrid: Considering Madrid is older than Mexico by...a long shot, I kinda see them as being aunt/niece. I'm sure that Resa looks up to her. (And, if Spain ever took her over to his house, then she would have taken care of her. Lovi: :3 You'd be doing the babysitting, but yes! I would love that.

Aha, perhaps Auntie Noelia yes x3 I imagine that she would have helped Spain and Lovi look after the colonies, even if she's pretty spacey herself XD Uhm. There's probably a solid idea here somewhere....

*will always think of Lovi as Latin-and-Central America's babysitter. Just. Can't help herself.*

XD Somewhere! Actually, I always see Lovi as taking care of them, too. >D I like to think that it was Lovi that got Resa to curse. But, haha, 'Tia Lovi'? TOTALLY. We're so gonna have to do something together.
