There needs to be a minimum of 3 posts from each person before you decide to break off and split or anything like that. It was a clear blue day, the sun was out the birds were singing, yet the giant house that lay abandoned seemed....cold. Desolate. Empty. It was a way off the beaten track, nestled gently in a secluded area that was rather hard to find. But it was there. And it beckoned. Something about the grounds of the mansion seemed odd, the sun seemed to stop spreading it's warmth after you walked onto the property.
There were stories about this place. Bad stories. According to legend, people went into this house and never came out.
Then again, those are just stories.....right?

But it was the sort of thing that he was used to, as there were many abandoned castles in his country. Though he had told himself that it wasn’t the same thing. There was something about the house that drew him towards it. He tilted his head back to take in the entirety of the house, blinking once, before using his foot to nudge open the door gently. Nicolae stepped closer, peering around the door carefully, and finally slipped inside the old manor. It was dark, and cold, and he felt a chill spreading down his spine as soon as he crossed the threshold. He shivered, drawing his coat tighter around his body as he wandered down the long hallway, eyeing the decorations curiously. For an empty manor, it sure looked…clean. Nicolae frowned, his nerves on edge. There was something wrong here, but he couldn’t figure out what it was. He trailed his fingers across the faded gold picture frame that he could see, clearing away the slight dust that had settled on the surface, and sighed faintly. Was he being too jumpy? Perhaps he was, but he couldn’t ignore the foreboding feeling settling in his stomach and the instincts screaming at him to leave this place. There was a strange aura about this house. Nicolae closed his eyes briefly, taking a deep breath as he straightened his posture. Spreading his awareness throughout the many rooms and hallways of the house, the Romanian nation slowly came to the conclusion that there was no other presence there. Human, at least. He opened his eyes again, troubled. Flinching at the sudden sound of footsteps, Romania drew instinctively against the wall and prepared himself to fight against whatever was there. "Nothing can protect us here"
He was feeling really uneasy. The man had arrived just a few minutes ago and the looming building made his stomach clench with queasiness. He wasn't really sure what about the mansion bothered him so much, but it did. Something about it just didn't seem right; it shouldn't be here, let alone exist. Just looking at it muddied his thoughts and made his head heavy. This place was bad.
So then why was Hiroto here? Well, in truth he couldn't remember. He was aware that when he was trudging up to this place, he was certain in his goal. As soon as he stepped onto the grounds, it slipped away, leaving him with some sort of mental clog. The sudden confusion on his mission made the whitish hair raise on his neck. He was pretty sure, but not positive, that someone was missing. Grasping a name on who was the problem. Brigitte, Alicia, Noelia; even his own name came to mind, as impossible as that was. All of them rose to the surface, all of them seemed right, but he couldn't help but dismiss them.
Putting all of that aside..... he also felt a little silly. Not as much as he had earlier, now that he was looking at the mansion, but still. Having a sword strapped to your back did that sometimes. Faintly, Hiro remembered his protesting this excursion. When he finally relented, it was only on the promise Hiro take some type of protection. If 'whoever the hell it was' was missing, the Capital was putting himself in danger. So he pulled out his old katana out of storage and sharpened it up. It was the only thing he owned he really knew how to use, even if he was rusty. He was sure his boss had meant something more along the lines of firepower, but he didn't own a gun and didn't plan on going out to buy one anytime soon.
"I'm stalling." He muttered to himself. And it was true. He really should just bite back whatever was keeping him there and just go in. So, he did. The door was large and heavy. It clicked shit behind him after he was in, not that he immediately noticed. Inside was cold and dark and quiet. It was also surprisingly clean. Running a finger over a nearby table and having it come back clean was unnerving than he liked. "Isn't this place abandoned?"
Shuffling. It was faint, but broke the silence. It made his tense up. On reflex, his hand went behind him, gripping the hilt of the blade. Trying to keep quiet, he slipped down where he thought he heard the noise coming from. His knuckles were turning white from his grip, the blade sliding out of it's sheath ever so slightly, the scrape of the metal ringing in the air. Hiro was really, really hoping whatever he found was friendly.

It seemed out of the three that were soon to form a group, Adelina was the most at ease. Walking up the hill she breathed in deeply, enjoying the fresh air. Of course this could have been because she was away from Russia, she was enjoying her freedom immensely. But there was this nagging feeling in the back of her head, that eventually had led her here. Pausing as she entered the grounds, she frowned at the empty feeling that had settled in her stomach and looked around. Something, or someone, had gone missing. Had been misplaced. Had vanished seemingly into thin air. This wasn't good, and the small mute girl crossed her arms and frowned to herself. Despite the chill and the eerie feeling she gained from the large house looming in view, she pushed open the door nonetheless and stepped inside with quiet footsteps.
Bracing herself, she didn't expect the seemingly old house to be so clean, though she sneezed at the slight coat fo dust drifting around. Closing the door behind her as quietly as she could, she wanted to call out into the house before realizing she couldn't. Shaking her head she walked further into the house, and saw someone move from the corner of her eye. If anyone else was really here, she wondered how to get their attention. Thinking quickly she rapped her knuckles on the wall, loudly and soundly to gather the attention of anyone else that was there.
