She didn't really know what she was doing, she was just sort of out and about, and England was rainy, as usual. She didn't want to be inside though, that was the bad part. It was cold, rainy and it was just one of those days. She was pacing at first, the flat she lived in wasn't too large, so it could cause an issue when she needed to be outside. There were days she did need to be outside, and this was one of those days. She couldn't stand being inside, and she would just get more and more restless. Today, that had happened. She'd woken up relatively early, cleaned up some, and then she had nothing to do. She got herself ready, and she pulled on some boots, a coat, and some clothes that weren't dirty, and she made off down the stairs out of her flat.
She hit the pavement under the stairs leading out of the building. She looked up into the sky, and the rain had slowed for the time being. She was glad, she didn't want to open her umbrella. Umbrellas were a good invention, but they were a waste of time. Honestly, most of the time, she would have rather been soggy then to have been under an umbrella. She shook her long hair about, and she glanced around at those around her, and she smiled lightly. No one looked at her, they all moved about, doing their own thing. She loved that about this city, and she smiled as she watched the others, and she got jostled around a little, and she needs to get out of others ways, she could watch them from somewhere else.
She moved down the street, and she smiled, picking up the pace a bit. She skipped a bit, and she got under the overhang from a coffee shop, and she went inside to get her something to drink. She got something strong, and she went back to sit by a window. She looked out over the street from her new vantage point, and she brought the cup to her lips, and she just surveyed those around her, nothing to do, no where to be but here, and she liked it that way. Not because she was lazy, merely because she was relaxed.

No wonder the British were always frowning! The blond on the other hand was having herself quite the time, she had been given a little vacation by her boss. And by vacation she meant that he had thrown her out of the office after she came running in, tripped on his dog and dropped the mocha frappachino she was drinking all over the window behind him in the oval office. So it was the third time that week, she didn't think it was so bad, at least she hadn't hit him in the face again. Either way there was some screaming of 'get out' and 'go somewhere else.' So the sunny blond took that as the go ahead to take a vacation and here she was now, skipping down the street with an American flag printed umbrella open to keep her and her beloved bomber jacket dry as she cheerfully hummed a little tune to herself, waving at random people who stopped to take a look at the strange girl. It was rather could out after all and there she was wearing a pair of denim cut off short shorts and an American flag printed tank top that left little to the imagination. Did she notice she stuck out like an insane red, white, and blue sore thumb? If she did Danii really didn't let on because she was still cheerful walking on down the streets taking in the pretty if not rather gloomy sights of the city. Looking through the rainy windows here and there she came across what she had a hunch was a familiar blond inline at a coffee shop. Oh yes! She knew that particular back of the head! Or at least she thought she did. Either way Danii quickly slipped into the shop, barely closing her umbrella in time to not decapitate someone with it as she did so. SInce she was there the girl decided she just had to get herself that chocolate chip muffin sitting there in all its sugary glory behind the glass at the counter before she could go any further. Hands on the prize the girl looked around for the other blond, spotted her sitting beside the window and quietly snuck up behind her. Taking another bit of her muffin when she was close enough Danii tossed an arm around Jess, grinning madly, "Hey dude, hows it going?!" She asked, louder then she needed to, not that the girl noticed her total lack of volume control. Abruptly she sat herself down in the chair across from the other girl, that well meaning smile still on her face as she pressed on with the conversation, "I was tossed out into some vacation time so I figured I'd stop by and see the sights and all that awesome stuff!" Happy and loud as always, though she added in as a sort of quiet afterthought, ".....Wish it wasn't always raining so much, tends to mess up my hair ya know," It was back to grinning a moment later though, "So anyway! How's everything?" She had totally forgotten she had already asked that. [style=padding: 0px 15px; font-size: smaller;] Date: Present? Location: Coffee Shop! She was used to the weather, it was never an issue for her. She didn't know any other sort of weather really, she had lived here for centuries. She smiled about the weather, and she was glad for the bits of peace they had had for the last few years. There were incidents here and there, but today? There was peace, and she was glad for it. Any sort of peace there was, was okay with her.
Fitting in had never been too hard for Jess. She looked like everyone else, and she didn't care. She was glad to look good, and well like everyone else. She was pleasant looking, or so she was told, and she was glad of that, she wasn't really happy enough to stick out, she didn't like to be noticed all that much. And, on this particular day, apparently she did stick out and she had been noticed, but she didn't even know it. She was being stalked like a gazelle by her American friend, and she had no idea.
That was, until she was grabbed. Jess screamed, nearly knocking her drink over. "Blimey, Danii! Trying to give me a bloody heartattack?!" She laughed lightly, she had been scared, but the American was just being herself. "Well, it's going fine I suppose, you know, except for the almost soiling myself part." She joked, sort of. She nearly had had the pee scared out of her. Always happy, Danii. Always. "Well, vacation time is always a good thing." She said, drinking her drink to her mouth.
Such a talker, Americans really were hilarious. "Little rain never hurt anyone." Or maybe that was because she was used to the weather, either way. How was everything? "Well frankly a little dull before you showed up, company always does make things more interesting." She said with a smile, though what she meant was, All the more interesting with you loud Americans around. She did love it when Alfred and Danii were around. They were both hilarious, England didn't always think so, but she did. "Anything in particular you wanted to sight see today? Not like I have anywhere to be if you wished a little company." She said with a smile.

British slang always brought a smile to Danii's face, granted one could argue that just about everything was capable of bringing a smile to her face, she was just so damn happy go lucky and easily amused, "Ahh you'da been alright, could just call it a new trend," The blond snickered a little, taking a rather inhuman sized bite of her chocolate chip muffin, "Didn't mean to almost kill you though, sowwwy," This was of course said through a mouth full of muffin. "Didn't end well for the Wicked Witch of the West," Danii said with a bit of a pout, taking another bite and chewing quickly, a thoughtful look on her face, "I know right? I can't stand bein' alone! Its so......boring!" She never knew what to do with herself when she was alone, it didn't help that she was proverbially attached at the hip to Alfred ninty nine percent of the time, always hanging off his shoulder or close enough to reach out and touch for whatever reason because she could. He was her all time favorite thing ever after all. "Dunno actually," She gave a great big smile, scratching the back of her head as she thought for a moment, "Umm....how about somewhere scary?" A sort of mischievous grin appeared over her features at the thought, "Alfred doesn't like scary things ya know, but I love'em, so let's go find some awesome haunted place or something!" Danii was becoming increasingly excited by the thought, that telltale look in her eyes like she was about to start shaking and explode with all the energy she was feeling at the moment. To say that she was ready to grab Jess by the hand and drag her out and down the street to the first scary looking place she could find in the gloomy city was an understatement. Eating the last of the muffin in another large bite she fixed her friends with large, blue eyes, doe like in their pleading to go have some unorthodox fun.
