Also, her game consoles to be confiscated and her internet service to be cut off as well. It was enough for her to nearly loose her mind and decided that she'll go out only if they keep their promise of returning what is hers if she do that in a week. So, outside she goes, awkwardly mingling with people (and other nations) and pray that she'll survive in a week without staying inside her humble adobe for too long except to sleep.
"That was totally uncalled for..."
Hourai sighed, bothered at such frivolous request she got from her boss (then again, she doubt Japan would not say the same thing anyway) as she stopped, hearing her stomach grumbling. So far, asides doing some minor job of hers with trade to keep the economy flowing, she have been spending some time in a video game arcade, trying to beat those kids in a fighting game before getting bored and going to look for something else to do. And this is why she rarely goes out, this place is too modernize!
"I guess I better go look for some place to eat." She murmured to herself, a sigh escaping her mouth at the bothersome thought before walking once more to the avenue where there were restaurants lined up. Surprisingly, for a prefecture, food was provided to her by Kiku most of the time, often eating from the comforts of her room (or outside her room, to change the pace) but eating out seems a rare thing for her to do. Hm, might as well get it over with. "...Huh?" Of course, she didn't realize that there would be so many restaurants out there, mostly foreign ones as the raven-haired prefecture gave a quizzical look on her face.
"I... don't think I can choose between these restaurants," Hourai mumbled softly to herself once more, her lower part of her face being covered by the overly-long sleeves of her attire. "This is quite bothersome." [/style][style=float: right; width: 300; height: 70px; padding: 20 10 0 0; font-family: verdana; font-size: 10px]music |

FEELING OUT OF SORTS
"I feel so unimaginably dumb." It was his own fault, though. Laying around and being lazy had left Hiroto in quite the predicament. His hair, normally a bright white- gray color, had faded out. Well, his hair dye did anyway. He had been so busy doing nothing that he hadn't noticed when his roots started to show, and by the time he realized it, it was much to late. He was boring and brown again. He tried to keep it hidden, but it was a hard thing to do, and both Kiku and his boss jumped him when they found out. Until he could find a hair stylish that hadn't been bribed into not taking him, he was stuck like this too. To make matters worse, without his flamboyant hair, it sucked all the fun out of wearing his bright and colorful kimonos. So he pulled on some of his stupid business clothes when he had to go out. He died a little inside every time it happened, but he would suck it up and deal with it.
A few days of wearing down his morale and Boss decided he had a job for him. Recently, he had cracked down on Okinawa, forcing her to go out. While he was confident that she would given the punishment for if she disobeyed, he wanted Hiro to go and check up on her. Hiro thought it was despicable to bother his Auntie, but he he whined and groaned and reluctantly agreed. A little while later, he was wandering the streets, not looking for her, but looking for a salon that wouldn't turn him away as soon as he stepped into the door. Sure, the first thing he was supposed to do was go to her house and see if she was there or not, but Hiro decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and said she wasn't. Even though he hadn't checked.
Sighing as he was turned away, yet again, from a nice place, he decided to give up on his search for now and grab a quick bite to eat. He felt so boring and average walking around in his brown suit and tie. It was pathetic. As he lamented, Hiro stumbled upon what he guessed was one of the food districts of the area. Just from a quick glance around, he could tell it had a lot to offer, and it seemed to offer cuisine from other countries! Well, this would be nice. He hadn't eaten out in a while, and it was nice to test the taste-buds. It would be nice to share his meal with someone, tho- and well, looks like his luck was turning!
"Oh! Auntie!" If it wasn't Hourai! He was happy to spot his auntie, and a little surprised she was actually out. He raised his hand and waved to her, picking up the pace so he could meet up with her. It had slipped his mind that she might not recognize him looking as he currently did. All his thoughts were on how nice it was to see her, and that he had a bunch of new games to tell her about, and that maybe she knew a good place to get hair dyed around here. Yes, they could sit and eat and chat and catch up on what all had been going on with each other. It would be nice.

Oh, and some Animé DVDs she just saw in the Video store, and those-
Right, focus.
Maroon eyes looking around for any signs from whatever deity she is praying right as of this moment, the raven-haired prefecture was less than happy at the choices given to her. All look so exquisite and all look so expensive, she's not too sure anymore which one she'll go to buy some stuff. And then there's the restaurant from America, as her eyebrows twitched involuntarily as soon as she noticed the familiar sign. Oh, great, she won't eat those junk he's eating even if it means he'll have to drag her. Lucky, for him, she's not on bitter terms with him, but the fact that the memory is still fresh from her, she couldn't help but involuntarily blame half of the things to him. Great, this is why Kiku keep asking her if she should just get out from time to time instead of sparingly.
"A-ra, a-ra...."
Still not making any decision, Hourai sighed and decided that maybe she'll just continue to look for a traditional, Japanese restaurant when she heard someone calling her attention. Blinking on who in the world would shout 'Auntie' at this time, thinking at first that it must be someone else, the female looked up to see some guy in brown hair and wearing a suit coming towards her with his arms raised in greeting. At first, she couldn't get a head on who that person is, but as the figure became closer, Hourai finally realized who that person is.
"Please refrain from calling me 'Auntie', Hiroto-san."
With her lower half of her face covered in her sleeves, Okinawa was sure that this person is none other than Tokyo himself, Hiroto Akira, as she tried to cover her muffled laughter at the sight of her 'nephew'. Now that she think about it, it was rare for her to see him with his brown hair, oftentimes seeing him in his ash-colored locks and vibrant-colored attire. Right now, he looks.... not-Hiroto. Which is strange, has the World gone loopy?
Maybe Prussia finally learned how to be polite. Oh, kami-forbid!
"Hiroto-san," Hourai called, lowering her sleeves before giving a bow of greeting like most Yamato Nadeshiko females of once upon a time. "You seems.... different today. Something that matter?" She's still obligated to be concern about him, but she have to admit, he looks not-Hiroto to the point that it's a tad funny on her side. Hiroto being plain is simply not compute well. Well, at least something's going on in her life. Somehow. "What brings you here? Aah, perhaps you are hungry too, hai? Or, just came from a meeting? What a diligent boy." The last part was purely just for fun, but she didn't meant any harm.
At least she'll have something fun to do while she's with the 'younger' capital. Hm, going out doesn't seem bad after all. [/style][style=float: right; width: 300; height: 70px; padding: 20 10 0 0; font-family: verdana; font-size: 10px]music |

FEELING OUT OF SORTS
A small mutter and a fake pout were followed by "But I like calling you Auntie." No sooner than the words were out of his mouth did he perk back up and let out a little laugh. Ah, how he did like pestering his Auntie. Hiro still meant that particular nickname as a term of endearment, even though it might have bothered her some. He really hoped the she didn't mind it that bad, because honestly he didn't plan to stop calling her that any time soon.
Still grinning from ear to ear, he mimicked her polite bow, doing a sweeping one of his own. "I'm fine, Auntie!" He waved his hand beside his face, an exaggerated motion that meant for her not to worry about it. He didn't really get why she thought he seemed different, though. Unless. Ah, yes that was it, How could he forget? Lifting up a piece of his dull brown hair with one hand and pointing to it with the other, he spoke again. "Kiku and Boss are being mean to me. I got hurt and was lazy and didn't get my hair done, so now they won't let me! I even tried sneaking off to do it, but I swear they've got every stylist in Japan on their side."
"Haha, yes. A meeting." He made an odd, half mocking face, sticking hid tongue out at her. "But nah, I'm here because Boss wanted me to come check in on you, but I got your back already." He smiled at her again. Yup, he had Auntie's back all right! He wouldn't let Kiku or Boss get away with being mean to her like they were being with him. No way. "I did come to get food. Would you care to join me?" He didn't know a lot, but he did have the vaguest idea of foods. It would be great to treat Hourai and stuff her until she busted; he knew she didn't get out that much, so it would be good to expand her tastes a little, but without being intrusive.
Being the gentlemen and offering his arm to her, he set off down the street at a slow pace. "Any idea on what you want to eat? I can recommend something if you want." He had spotted a nice little place that claimed authentic Italian food that would be nice to try. If she wanted, he would take her there. It would be better than the American fast food places but was much less adventurous than some of the other places he saw. As they strolled, he decided to pick up a little bit of conversation. "So what have you been doing?" Not much, he was sure, but he liked hearing Auntie speak. She had such a funny little lilt to her voice.
{hiro is an enabler. also, sorry it's kind of bad. i rushed myself some because of class, so it didn't come out as long or as good as i'd thought it would.}

Ah, how hard it is to be old sometimes.
"Ah, sou na no ka?" She murmured musingly, giggling a bit that she wasn't the only one after all who was being reprimanded by both her boos and her brother. Strange how, unlike Kiku, Hiroto's quite the opposite of him (must be from America's influence), though she doesn't seem to mind. Change is good too, though not all the time, so she's not the one to say such things.
"They did?"
It was natural, considering how she mostly runs off to unusual places when she was being told to 'get out and get some fresh air', though mostly she always ended up either in an arcade or pretty much anywhere with foliage or trees. She do like to stay indoors, but she also like to roam around some green scenery whenever she goes out. Quite an oddball, apparently. "That's good," The raven-haired female said in her still-soft tone, making a slow nod. "I really do want to get back to my house, I'm already missing how-many episodes of the soap opera I am watching." She voiced her concern, her attention focused on the show she used to watch at this time of the hour whenever she stays at home. "Ah! Yes, that would be lovely!" She said with a smile, nodding at the arrangement.
Taking his hand, Hourai shook her head when he asked if she knows what to eat, considering how she is rather more familiar with the traditional, Japanese style than those modernize, foreign ones out there. She did ate a few foreign food when she was told to tag along with Japan on one of his travels outside their territory, but that was one of the rare things to be seen from the female considering her shut-in nature. "Iie, I don't think I know what to eat." The benevolent prefecture said. "Perhaps you have an idea on what's good to eat." She added, musing on the streets filled to the brim with restaurants, eatery, diners and the likes.
"Roaming around... But the place is a tad too crowded so I spend most of my time in the arcade to pass the time."
Okinawa didn't say that she doesn't like the place lately, but it seems to be getting too crowded for her liking; another reason as of why she rather stay back in her own home, doing nothing and worrying nothing other than what's for her next meal.
